Special Containment Procedures: Instances of Scp-XXXX are to be held in a standard humanoid containment constructed out of not metallic materials. The entrance to the containment of Scp-XXXX is to be guarded by security guards armed with non metal based weapons. Anyone entering the containment chamber of Scp-XXXX is to be searched for any metallic items hidden on them, and have it removed except during tests approved by a level 3 researcher or higher.
Description Scp-XXXX is an entity that is only visible to those under its effects. Scp-XXXX has been described by anyone who has seen it as being an old human like creature. Descriptions of SCP-XXXX's consistently report it appearing as an elderly woman, though with signs of extreme advanced aging. There are 2 instances of Scp-XXXX in containment. Scp-XXXX-1 is said to be carrying a spool of thread while Scp-XXXX-2 has been said to be carrying scissors. Victims of Scp-XXXX have said that it appears to be following then, and looking at them with malevolence. It is not known how Scp-XXXX kills its victims, but they are reported to grow increasingly fearful after being exposed to Scp-XXXX. After about 3 days the victom will start to slowly lose control of their bodily movements. Although they have very little control over their body they are still able to communicate verbally. Those affected by Scp-XXXX have stated seeing Scp-XXXX watching them from around corners and behind windows. After 10 days the victim will precede to lose conscientiousness and go into a comatose state lasting between between 3 to 5 months. Approximately 50% of victims of Scp-XXXX die in their comatose state, while the other 50% have emerged with no recorded anomalous effects.
Recovery Log: Scp-XXXX-1 was recovered in the town of █████, New York after heightened reports of coma patients in the area. MTF-Pi-1 was sent in after survivors of Scp-XXXX had started emerging from their comas and telling people about what they had seen. The local population was given amnesties and had been given adequate cover stories to discredit and disperse reports. Scp-XXXX was recovered by the foundation after the loss of 2 members of MTF-Pi-1, who had given us the most information, and most in-depth information to date.
Addendum: After being exposed to metals in the walls, and weapons of security guards Scp-XXXX had went into a state of heightened aggression and movement, resulting in a lessened fatality rate, and these events should be avoided when possible.
Addendum 2: Through extensive testing it has been determened that Scp-XXXX enters the rage state after coming in contact with 10 grams of metallic materials, or being in the vicinity of 80 grams of metallic materials.
Addendum 3: Due to a recent increase of coma patients, and reports similar to SCP-XXXX sightings, agents are investigating a possibility of another instance in ███████, California.
