SCP - 4979

DESCRIPTION:

SCP 4979 is a ceremonial face mask from the origin of [DATA REDACTED], SCP 4979 appears to have a bland expression and overexaggerated facial features, it has yellow fixated eyes and straight white lips. SCP 4979 has 2 wooden pillars supporting it from a small wooden base with the writing "Nouvelle Caledonie" imprinted on it.

SCP 4979s composition is unknown, but recent studies suggest that it could possibly be an alloy of Titanium and Polonium, SCP 4979s surface seems to be extremely strong and fire resistant, no methods have been able to damage SCP 4979.

Any liquids that come within a 3 metre radius of SCP 4979 will freeze, no matter what temperature the liquid freezes at, if any living organism comes in contact with SCP 4979 subject will experience severe hallucinations, subjects affected by these hallucinations report extreme stress and heart rates ranging between 92 to 156 bpm.

SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES:

SCP 4979 is to be stored in a 7x7x7 metre steel container with a modified airlock attached to the bottom right corner. Absolutely no liquids are to be carried into SCP 4979 unless Agent [EXPUNGED] is notified at least 2 days before the test.
