Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is kept in a 335 x 365 centimetre cell at Site-██. Subject's enclosure must be checked for any new items or instances of SCP-XXXX-2 at least once every 2 weeks. Anything new inside SCP-XXXX's enclosure must be reported to higher ups immediately. Only level-3 personnel or higher are permitted to enter subject's enclosure for testing, but are instructed to where full body protection before they enter. Staff must immediately exit it's enclosure if anything new appears while inside. Items recovered from SCP-XXXX's enclosure are to be tested on and then disposed of afterwards. Personnel may not stay longer then 30-minutes inside subject's enclosure.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the animate silhouette of a house cat (Felis catus) exhibiting several anomalous properties. Subject measures at about 24 centimetres in height, and weighs 4.4 kilograms. SCP-XXXX is capable of absorbing any light that is shined upon it, some researchers even theorizing it absorbs 100% of visible and non-visible light. Despite this, SCP-XXXX gives off no heat signature and does not appear on infrared cameras. SCP-XXXX's body temperature is described to be moderately-cold when touched with proper protection. If touched without protection, the victim will exhibit extreme hypothermia and will most likely die if not removed from SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX exhibits behavior typical of a normal house cat. Subject is extremely docile and quite affectionate, often greeting foundation staff entering its primary enclosure. SCP-XXXX is capable of all feline vocalizations, though how it vocalizes is unknown. Subject doesn't require sustenance of any kind.
Subject will dispense random items a couple times per month, these items include (but are not limited to) model trains, an inert nuclear warhead, and a broken desktop lamp. SCP-XXXX produces no biological waste. Along with its usual items, subject will regularly cough up a hair ball coated in a viscous, black, pitch-like substance, this is known as SCP-XXXX-2. DNA analysis of an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 reveals it to be composed of the hairs of various felid species.
