Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4943 is to be weighed down with concrete blocks at the bottom of a 15 x 15 foot pool inside of SCP-4943's sarcophagus at all times. Should SCP-4943 escape from the sarcophagus, the site is to be immediately put on lockdown and SCP-4943 must be recaptured as soon as possible. There are currently no known ways to forcefully capture SCP-4943 during the nighttime. Personnel who have degrees in philosophy or ethics have been shown to calm SCP-4943 when in their presence and make cooperation possible.

Description: SCP-4943 refers to an Egyptian human male of above average height identifying himself as [DATA EXPUNGED], a self-proclaimed philosopher from Ancient Egypt, captured by Romans. Based on information gathered from the subject, SCP-4943 is from an alternate reality in which the Romans invented philosophy, and the Roman Empire persists to modern times. When asked of fellow philosophers, subject named Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, Francis Bacon, Hobbes, and philosophers all known in this reality. However, subject also cited pop stars, average citizens, and even fictional serial killers as prominent philosophers. It is currently unknown if all of these figures live together in the same world at the same time or if SCP-4943 is unable to die.
