Description: SCP-3953 is a grandfather clock with a wooden frame. It stands 2.25 meters tall with a width of exactly 1 meters. A standard clock face is located on the top half and is protected by a layer of impenetrable glass. All attempts of breaking the glass has failed.
SCP-3953 was located at [REDACTED], United Kingdom at exactly 13:23 PM. Research concludes that the clock could date back as far as the 19th century, which explains [REDACTED].
SCP-3953 follows the standard design and function of most grandfather clocks. It emits a ticking noise at every second and once the larger hand has reached twelve on the clock face it emits a chime, signalling an hour has passed since the larger hand passes the twelve. The chime is reminiscent of [REDACTED].
Upon the chime playing, one living person or animal that hears the chime will disappear at random. Every attempt at recovery has so far failed. It is currently unknown if SCP-3953 causes death or transportation to another location.
