Containment: Instances of SCP-XXXX are to be held in a 5 by 5 meter room with exposed wiring in the North East Corner. The wiring is to emit approximately 100 Watts every 24 hours for 1 hour, in order to feed the instances. The entrance to the chamber should be a standard airlock with a appropriately charged electromagnet to remove any hidden instances, which are to be immediately placed in a separate cell for 48 hours as punishment. Never should -A and -B instances be held in the same containment cell with out expressed permission from two Level 3 research personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a magnetically charged highly social sapient mass of liquid mercy that is non-toxic to organic life. SCP-XXXX is divided into instances of SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B. When SCP-XXXX is exposed to any Sentient being it will act in a friendly mannor if they find the subject suitable (See Amendium-XXXX-A). SCP-XXXX will continue to follow the subject until they fall asleep. Once asleep the instance will cover the subject’s face until they fall unconscious. The prevailing theory is that XXXX does this as a form of anesthetic. Once the subject is unconscious it will proceed to force it self into the back of the subjects neck, and proceed to crawl inside. After a time period of 45 minutes to 2 hours the instance will reimmerge. Afterwards the wound will not heal and be replaced by a nontoxic regenerative mercury membrane that can only be passed through by SCP-XXXX
The subject will have no memory of the night before and will now have a degree of control over XXXX. The subject will then be able to communicate with XXXX via Verbal commands, and can be trained to respond to certain sitmuli.
The SCP-XXXX is currently divided into two groups -A (Positively charged) and -B (Negatively Charged). Once a XXXX instance has paired with a human there are notable differences into the -A and -B behavior: -A instances are more adventurous and will travel farther from the subject; -B instances prefers to remain close to the subject and seems to actively observe surroundings. —No further differences in behavior have been noticed.— See Amednium-XXXX-C
Once the subject enters REM sleep the instance will proceed back through the membrain on the subjects neck, were it is believed to feed by harnessing the body’s electricity through unknown means for a period up to 5 hours before reimmerging and guarding the subject as they sleep. This process simply results in the subject requiring a longer term of sleep, and increased hunger.
In the event that the subject perishes the instance will return inside of the body where it will spend the next 12 hours and reimmerges with another instance. It is believed that the instance perseveres the subjects personnality by transforming it into another SCP-XXXX instance. In the 2-3 minutes the instance [Data redacted] in order to prevent brain damage. It then proceeds raipidly drain the remaining electricity in the body causing it to rapidly gain size. Once all the remaining electricity in the body is harvested it will split into two instances, and through unknown means begins transferring the subject personality to the new instance. It is currently unknown what determines if a new instance is a -A or -B See Amednium-XXXX-B.
In the event that a -A and -B instance come into contact they will “merge” into a larger form, with the porcess taking around 6 hours with the first hour, -A and -B instances circling each other. After 9 months the new -C instance will transform into a infant child with no anomalous properties. Personality testing has revealed that the child’s personality, and physcal appearance are a mix of the -A and -B instance’’s body before being transformed into SCP-XXXX.
Discovery: On [Redacted] a citizen proceeded to his supposed deceased uncle’s house as his will instated. Upon searching the down stairs basement he discovered five instances (2 -A instances and 3 -B instances) along with 7 corpses (now believed to be the previous people paired with SCP-XXXX), and proceeded to call local law enforcement. Agents embedded in said local law enforcement alerted The Foundation as soon as they discovered that the instances were animate. A coverup story was put in place and proper amenstics where issued. Several documents containg much of SCP-XXXX’s life cycle including how a -C instance formed, were recovered from the residence. The current theory is that M███, G███████ (the owner of the property) was the original creator of SCP-XXXX and that he also allowed a -C instance to form accounting for the seven bodies and 5 instances. It is believed that M███ faked his death and is not at large with the -C instance pretending to b a family.
Amendium-XXXX-A: On 1/5/19 Dr [Redacted] received persimmon to pair them selves with a instance. When Dr [Redatced] approached XXXX-B-24 it refused to interact with her. When Dr. [Redacted] try pairing with other instances majority refused to pair until she ended up pairing with one the original instances. After extensive testing it was revealed that she had a especially negative relation with class D used for duplication of XXXX. The current theory is that XXXX determines if the host is suitable by if the original mind that XXXX was created from had a positive or negative relationship. In short if the original subject did not look on the new subject favorably the instance that they have become will refuse to pair themselves with that person.
Amendium-XXXX-B: Inorder to obtain more instances of SCP-XXXX for testing several Class D were paired with XXXX and terminated soon after. All immerging instances were notably negative. On [Data Redacted] Dr. Morgan, suggested termination via SCP-[Redacted] in order to test how the XXXX instance would react to death via infection. On Day [Redacted] of the infection Class D-24682 perished due to symptoms of [Data readacted], as expected the instance proceeded to transform D-24682’s personality into another XXXX instance but the resulting instance was positively charged. Resulting the first -A instance successfully produced since SCP-XXXX was contained. Further experimentation revealed that any death caused by disease or sickness resulted in -A instance being produced while any other death resulted in a -B instance.
Amendium-XXXX-C: On [Data Redacted] A test was performed to see if a XXXX instance would leave a subject in order to “merge” with another instance. 24 hours into the experiment Class D-29810 (from now on referred to as D-A as he bonded with a -A instance) began getting severely aggitated due to seclusion with Class D-30015 (From now on referred to as D-B as he had bonded with a -B instance).
After several minutes of arguing on the topic of attempted escape D-A proceeded to attack D-B by punching him on the stomach, but before the blow could land XXXX instance B-9 proceeded to move at over D-B stomach at speeds of 40km/h and hardened its self causing D-B to receive minimal damage while D-A’s hand was broken. D-A’s instance A-14 proceeded to jump onto D-B’s face in a attempt to suffocate him. D-B managed to intercept A-14 and B-9 quickly proceeded to wrap itself on the right side D-B’s face as D-A proceeded to follow up with a punch on the same spot B- 9 was now positioned.
D-B was monetarily stunned, but D-A was unable to take advantage of this opportunity as he was recoiling in pain from his right hand being broken. After both recovered D-B threw A-14 back towards D-A and attempted to diffuse the situation.
A-14 then proceeded to split itself in two parts while maintaining contact with D-A and proceeded to cover D-A’s hands and formed into a blade. After several minutes of fighting D-B managed to successfully subdue D-A.
B-9 then proceeded over to A-19 who made no attempts of resisting as B-9 proceeded to sap A-19’s size until it was a quarter size of it’s original form while B-9 had grown in the mass that A-19 had lost. 10 minutes afterwards with no more unusal events occurring the test was concluded.
Due to the largely undetermined nature of SCP-XXXX, a list of the most notable tests are as follows.
Test A - 2/18/19
Subject: SCP-XXXX-B-14
Procedure: B-14 is to be secured with a electromagnet as a 10 CM by 10CM blade is to be used to cut the instance on half. As proper sampling has proved impossible due to the fact that XXXX’s extreme malleability causes it to morph around any items that try to sample it.
Results: Upon the blade touching B-14 it began compressing it self greatly increasing its dentistry resulting in the blade being unable to cut the instance and end up breaking the hydraulic press.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX clear has self preservation meaning that it may be possible to terminate a instance if required.
Test B - 2/22/19
Subject: SCP-XXXX-B-14, Class-D 3768
Procedure: 3768 will use a diamond bladed saw attempt to cut through B-14 while it is restrained with a electromagnet.
Results: At first B-14 allowed the saw to sink into itself then hardened itself into a solid causing the Class-D to loose there grip, at this exact moment B-14 returned to its normal state causing the saw to fly into the concrete wall.
Analysis: Its clear that taking a sample off SCP-XXXX is a futile attempt as it seems poses a high degree of intelligence, along with its ability to transform into a super dense solid.
Test C - 4/1/19
Subject: Class-D 30015, SCP-XXXX-A-19
Procedure: In light of the events recorded in Amednium C, 30015 was ordered to separate a small peice of A-19 from the rest of the mass, and hand The sample over to Foundation Security.
Results: Class-D successfully separated a sample from A-19 with his bare hands. When 30015 attempted to hand the sample over to Foundation Security he found it stuck to his fingers as he tried to place it in the plam of the Security Personnel’s hand. Apon further investigation it was revealed that neither sample could be removed from his skin until both samples were reunited.
Analysis: Its appears that when XXXX Paris itself with a host it modifies the subject in order to be a conduit of connection.
Test D - 4/13/19
Subject: Class-D 29989 SCP-XXXX-B-5
Procedure: The Class-D is to be paired with B-5 but is to be supplied oxygen when the B-5 instance attempts to render him unconscious
Results: Once 29989 was asleep B-5 attempted to render him unconscious but unknown to B-5 was unable to as he was being supplied oxygen via a medical oxygen mask. Once B-5 began forcing itself into the Class-D’s neck he woke up immediately and screamed in pain and tried to force B-5 off of his neck but failed as his hands passed through B-5 as if it was a liquid. After B-5 forced itself into 29989 he recieved a brief moment of respite from the pain but was extremely alarmed as he now understood the B-5 was inside of him. Approxiamatley 30 seconds after his realization the pain resumed as B-5 [Redacted], resulting in 22989 entering shock and perishing soon after. B-5 returned from the insides of 22989 alone without going through any steps to create another instance.
Analysis: It appears that SCP-XXXX renders the subject unconscious as a form of anesthetic. Also of note upon B-5 being returned to its cell with other -B instances it refused to socialize with other instances for three days.
