Persuading Chalk
Object class: safe

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-5001 is to be concealed in a 11x11m metal chamber exclusive to a viewing area. Since SCP-5001 has a mental connection to individuals nearing it, all personnel are to stand at a safe distance further from the designated range of 5 feet to prevent SCP-5001 of affecting the brains neurotransmitters.

Description:

SCP 5001 is a chalk outline laid out on the ground of a human male approximately 6 feet tall. The chalks appearence resembles that of how average law enforcement would outline the body of murder victims to mark the position of how the person(s) died.
In the instance of SCP 5001, the body seemed to have been in great distress and most likey died of blood loss or shock.

• First, the head of SCP 5001 seemed to be jerked and moved in a matter that most likely snapped the neck at the base of the skull.

•Both arms of SCP 5001 are stretched to it's left side of the body, implying that the victim was reaching for an unknown object or even a person

• The legs of SCP 5001 are in running position facing left in unison with arms. This is likey from the victim being in motion when unknown cause of death occurred.

SCP 5001's anomolous properties begin when an individual lies down into the same position as the victims outline in the chalk line drawn. Upon doing this, the subject begins experiencing signs of pain in the base of the skull similar to the description of where the murder victim had his neck snapped or broken. Approximately 12 minutes after these painful expressions, the chalk will begin to "redraw" or fit itself to the position of the subject lying down, outlining them instead of SCP 5001's original posture.
This is when SCP 5001's other anomolous properties take place. When this second phase begins, the subject lying down in the new position (personally shaped by the chalk) will be unable to move any limbs and are incapable of any movement. This is presumed to be an unknown force keeping the subject in place. After movement is disabled and the chalk finishes drawing itself to fit the subject. The individual will have multiple bones, tendons and muscles snapped and broken simultaneously and by undetermined means at this point and will die from internal bleeding due to these injuries. After these events take place, the body of set person who died will only decay and disappear when not under any form of surveillance or monitoring and otherwise will continue to lay in the chalk. When not supervised, the subjects body will suddenty disappear with no remains ever indicating that there was a human lying in the chalk. Along with the disappearance, SCP 5001 will arrange itself back into the same position from which it originally started in.
