Special Containment Procedures: SCP- should be contained inside of a 5 by 5 centimeter box made of a durable metal in a separate low-risk object vault of site-███. 2 (two) downward-facing scantron reality anchors are to be present in the containment vault of SCP-, with each connected to an independent generator in the event of power failure.
Description: SCP- is a blue-and-white TI-30XS electronic calculator. Appearance wise, SCP- is normal, aside from slight vandalism to its surface. However, SCP- also passively changes reality around it. The specific method of this effect is unknown, though examination of SCP-'s interior revealed numerous pieces of anomalous electronic equipment. These pieces of electronic equipment are documented below on document-SCP—1.
SCP- also appears to be unbreakable, with it remaining impervious to destruction when tested against several varieties of acids, explosives, blades, and miscellaneous projectiles.
In its uncontained state, SCP- changes reality around it in small amounts using a field that extends from SCP-. This "field" extends 2 inches from SCP-'s surface. Materials present in this field may change, or simply disappear. If SCP- were to be placed in a box made of steel, SCP-'s effect may change parts of the box to wood, others to stone, and make other parts of the box disappear. There seems to be no limit to how large the transmutated material's area may be, which SCP- having transmutated the entire bottom surface of its containment box into zinc during a separate event on 23/7/██.
SCP- is immune to its own effect.
SCP-'s field can transmutate seemingly any material. This is discussed further in document incident-scp—1
SCP- first came to foundation attention on 12/4/██, when foundation agents embedded in the local police department of ██████ received a report from a geometry class at █████ high school about a table whose surface had partially transformed into various types of meat. MTF Lambda-5 (White Rabbits) was dispatched to contain SCP-, which was completed with no casualties. ██ witness were amnesticized.
On 28/5/██, a large sub-kiloton explosion equivalent to █ tons of TNT destroyed a large portion of site-███ following a major power outage. Chemical and particle analysis of site-███ remains revealed SCP- had transmutated parts of its containment box into antimatter, which had then detonated immediately upon creation. SCP-'s threat level was changed from green to red by vote from the O5 council on 28/5/██.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation for ██████ Air Force Base, a former United States air force installation. ██████ Air Force Base was deactivated in 19██ as part of the 19██ Berlin Treaty on Paraweaponry of Mass Destruction. GRANT REQUEST FOR THE CREATION OF AN AUTONOMOUS ANTI BALLISTIC MISSILE DEFENSE FACILITY
PROBLEM
With the introduction of the Soviet R-36M1Б ICBM, a United States government intermediary has contacted us for assistance in the creation of anti-ballistic missile defense facilities to defend the United States and its territories.
The Soviet R-36M1Б utilizes thaumaturgical penetration aids alongside conventional penetration aids. These include, but are not limited to:
- Mylar balloons
- Radar jammers
- Small decoys
- The replacement of MIRVs4 with MARVs5
- Stealth fields, presumably borrowed from [REDACTED]
- Friction nullifiers, most likely reused from Soviet submarine K-162
- Gravity fields, probably repurposed from the N-1 rocket
SOLUTION
Due to the nature of the Soviet missile defenses, the interception of the missiles at it's boost stage should be considered for all intents and purposes, impossible. As a result, a terminal defense system should be strongly considered.
Any sort of terminal defense system considered should have the following requirements:
- High acceleration
- Multiple guided munitions
- Strong range
- Reliability
It should be noted that off-the-shelf technology should be strongly considered for cost saving measures.
With the United State's safeguard program has been recently cancelled, there exists a large surplus of XLIM-99 Sprint Anti-Ballistic Missiles available for usage.
A simple re-purposing of these devices, alongside modifications of the MSR radar control system, and some general thaumaturgical protections should prove sufficient.
Due to the effects of nuclear war being more than unforgiving on sentient, fleshy beings, the defense facility may use an artificial intelligence for missile direction and control.
The possibility of an early stranglehold on the eigenweapon defense sector market, an important global aspect with the world still locked in a "cold war", should be an important consideration in this decision.
BUSINESS CASE
While the primary contractor is the United States government, the eigenweapon defense sector is an empty market, and with the advent of new thaumaturgical discoveries every week, the rapid proliferation of eigenweapons will quickly become a problem.
The potential for a lucrative business market in the eigenweapon defense sector is an opportunity to good to ignore.
USE OF FUNDING
With the projected course of the proposal simple in conceptually, 50,000$ will be required for structural reconstruction, 5,000$ for training costs, and 300,000$ for missile modification - much of the technology is off-the-shelf, significantly reducing costs and maintenance required.
In terms of required labor, this proposal runs simply - Regular Prometheus Labs constructors will be needed for installations of new equipment banks, alongside the removal of unneeded equipment. Thaumaturgical technicians will be required for the installation of several esoteric protection runes, and of course, technicians will be required for missile modification, a simple process.
Work will be completed quickly - the general framework of the facility is already prepared for usage, with installation of new equipment being the only required aspect of construction. One to two months should be expected for construction.
The only construction equipment required will be heavy lifting exoskeletons, alongside precision lab equipment for missile modification fabrication, equipment that could be found in any Prometheus Labs ordnance lab.
