Special Containment Procedures: Members of mobile task force Mu-4 ("Debuggers") are currently tasked with going under-cover into social media websites and holding contests for finding "cursed images" or media. All confirmed media from SCP-5458 are to be stored in the Foundation Database and physically stored via flash drive in Site 73 Site-19 storage vault █.
Description: SCP-5458 is an anomalous source of video and photographic media spread across the internet. Media from SCP-5458 most commonly manifests in "deeper" parts of social media platforms such as YouTube, Reddit, 4Chan, and other forum or video sharing websites. Videos and pictures produced by SCP-5458 are often described as having a "surreal" or "disturbing" feeling, and the media is generally low resolution or quality. A possible reason for this may be the 'Uncanny Valley' affect. Around 12% of discovered media is generally reacted to as being unable to look at, or ████████. As of documentation, SCP-5458 has been traced back to fourteen (14) computer systems located [REDACTED]. Almost all systems discovered are nonfunctional or abandoned.

[12:06:53] Agent █████ is seen in his office, uploading eleven (11) photos produced by SCP-5458 to site-73's database.
[12:07:12] Photos are confirmed to have been uploaded to the site's database at this time.
[12:10:02] A single Shiba-Inu breed of dog is seen walking along the hallway of Agent █████'s office. Agent █████ does not seem to notice until the dog barked at a coat hangar, after which Agent █████ stood up to investigate the source of the noise.
[12:10:35] Agent █████ attempts to restrain the dog by tackling it. Upon doing so, the previously mentioned coat hangar outside the Agent's office appears to move and Agent █████ trips. The coat hangar then appears to "come to life" and begins attacking Agent █████ until they pass out due to blunt trauma. After which, the coat hangar goes back to its normal state.
[12:10:56] Several hundred unidentified spiders are seen emerging from a ventilation grate located on the ceiling of the office
[12:11:03] Six (6) unidentified individuals, dressed as the mascot of the popular fast food franchise McDonald's, appear to gather in the office seeming to look around confused.
[12:12:05] A man, now identified as ██████████, is seen dressed in a 'banana costume'. upon seeing the previously mentioned group gathered in the office, the subject fired three (3) rounds from a M1911 Pistol at the group and ran into the adjacent office
[12:11:05] Security camera feed goes black with a picture of a dog in the middle. Reasons for this are still unknown

Addendum 5458-2:
Media produced by SCP-5458 is not to be directly stored in any office space that is generally considered monochrome or built from 1999 to 2009. Reasons for the affects that SCP-5458 has on these places and the affects that it produces is still being researched.
