SCP-XXXX-38 and SCP-XXXX-37 (In background) in a dormant state.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: All but one instance of SCP-XXXX are located at Liverpool, England spread out over 3.2km along ██████ Beach. Due to the exposed area that SCP-XXXX takes up and to prevent unauthorised personnel from seeing SCP-XXXX a 3m tall barrier is placed at all possible viewing points where SCP-XXXX is visible. Any questions asked by locals are to be answered by security personnel dressed as local utility workers with the cover story that the section of the beach is an environmentally protected area and it is closed from the public.
Any industrial ships are to be informed to stay 5km away from the containment site with the same story told to civilians walking up to the fence. Any unauthorised personnel attempting to swim or sail towards the containment site are to be detained and reported to local authorities for trespassing.
In the unlikely event that an instance of SCP-XXXX attempts to breach the site waterproof shock tags placed around all instances of SCP-XXXX ankles are to be activated (which for reasons still unknown) will cause paralysis in said subject for 8-10 hours, in this time a coastal rescue boat is to be dispatched to retrieve the subject and place it back into the site.
SCP-XXXX-1 is currently contained in site-██ in a 5x2x3 metre containment cell with a consistent supply of saltwater being pumped into the cell. Any breach attempts will result in the cell being drained and refilled after an amount of time determined by a present level 4 staff member if no personnel with level 4 classification is or was present at the containment breach the cell will remain empty for a month. A 50cm thick, shatter-proof glass pane is placed between SCP-XXXX-1 and the observation area for interviews.
Under no circumstances are Foundation personnel to be in the same body of water and less than 100m from any instance of SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a collection of 100 cast iron figures facing west towards the ocean spread along ██████ Beach in Liverpool, England. Each figure is 189cm tall and weighs 650kg. Origins currently unknown although interviews with locals seem to suggest that the SCP's appearance happened spontaneously in early 2007. Its presence was alerted to the foundation after multiple local news teams began work on news stories about their sudden appearance followed by the discovery of a corpse with multiple broken bones washed up 200m away from the site.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous characteristics occur when an instance of it is fully submerged underwater, when this happens the SCP becomes animate and will begin to walk around the environment it is in
