Description: SCP-8355 consists of multiple instances, Weighing several tons, SCP-8355-A is an indestructible stone statue of a human soldier of an undefined army in the estimated greeko-roman period. The statue appears to be holding a sword but currently has nothing in its hands. Weighing roughly 5kg, SCP-8355-B, the stone sword is loosely stored within the statue right next to the soldier lodged by the blade into the base of the statue.. When placed in the statue’s hand the fingers will tighten around SCP-8355 and become animated and will use the sword to “Slice” open a rift into SCP-8355-Prime. SCP-8355-Prime consists of a parallel universe with earth in an Anarchist state. The barrier can be closed by taking out SCP-8355 from the hands of the warrior. Any attempts to bring the Sword away more than 50 ft will result in Disaster or at the very least, [DATA EXPUNGED]. Humanity and very few other species still live on the planet. On SCP-8255-Prime live SCP-8355-C which are the alternate versions of humans which are much more violent and appear to be immortal. It is theorized due to the surplus of humans still on Earth that instances of SCP-8355-C will be recycled upon death at a random location on Earth. This is currently impossible to confirm.
In a short journey into SCP-8355-Prime, One D-Class reported seeing the following:
A skirmish of roman soldiers
A man with make-shift melee weapons charging a man with a WWI-style rifle.
A helicopter being blown out of the sky by an explosive arrow shot by a man riding on a horse.
Off the coast of what appeared to be Spain, a large naval battle from ships dating back to the viking era swarming what looked like the HMS Slinger, A british Aircraft Carrier from WWII
A cruise missile being launched to god knows where.
It is to be noted that Instances of SCP-8355-C cannot distinguish non-anomalous humans and themselves. So it’s best to shoot them before they shoot you.
SCP-8355-A was found in an underground stronghold in Turkey dating back to possibly 300 B.C. though the statue itself dates back to at least a few melania before the stronghold was built. In the stronghold walls torn flags of nations such as the persain empire, or the babylonians lined the halls, evidence suggests Alexandria's military was the last to exhibit this fort before it’s abandonment. It is still unclear who exactly built the stronghold but it was re-classified as SCP-8355-D. In SCP-8355-D scrolls and pieces of paper all say that the portal had been opened 5 times before the foundation arrived and was abandoned by Alexander the Great due to a massive loss of life before they were able to close the portal by taking the sword out of the statue.
Addendum a1:
Species of Cattle have been found to wander the warzones guided by traders/farmers who express fear when the D-Class gets too close. The cattle express no fear to anyone it finds strangers, only loyalty to their masters. One D-Class was assaulted and early mauled to death by an attack dog. Owned by a man with merely a combat knife and a whip took off running when the D-classes aimed their firearms at the defenseless man whose dogs were just killed by a .88 round.
Addendum a2:
An Instance of SCP-8355-C came through the portal out of curiosity and attacked the nearest guard as a main threat. The instance was quickly detained as foundation personnel continued explaining what was happening.
Addendum a3:
While the portal was still open an atomic blast forced the foundation to close the barrier and losing contact with the team of D-Class inside. Any attempts to rescue them have been denied.
Addendum a4:
At GMT a portal opened up into SCP-8355-Prime right in front of SCP-8355-A. A large number of instances of SCP-8355-B came through the portal and caused a 5-Star security breach and the breaches of 7 other SCP’s of Site-90. Most if not all personnel working there were killed, Over 8 MTF units had to be dispatched to interfere. All instances of SCP-8355-C that made it out into our world have been neutralized. The portal was immediately shut and SCP-8355-A was transferred to Site-__.
Special containment procedures: (Updated)
In case of the event of another Addendum type a4, SCP-8355-A must be kept under heavy containment having multiple heavy 50. Caliber machine guns and several rocket launchers aimed In front of SCP-8355-A. If any of SCP-8355-C breach containment they could wreak havoc on our world and most definitely could cause an XK-Class End of the world scenario or an SK-Class Dominance-Shift scenario.
