Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-01 is to be kept in a locked chamber in Site-64. Due to non-aggressive nature of object, additional containment procedures are not required.

Description: SCP-XXXX-01 is a Magnavox 13S401-00AA television set that was seized from ████ ██████ in █████, Portland. Its appearance and technical characteristics are absolutely identical to normal analog, except that it can work without connection to the antenna. No attempt to find signal source has been successful.
When turned on, SCP-XXXX-01 shows non-existent TV shows of absurd content (SCP-XXXX-02). Most of the actors were identified, although their participation in the filming was refuted. The personnel who observed SCP-XXXX-02 claimed that there was no point in what was happening, although they had a strong feeling that they had already seen something like that. After continuous watching it for three (3) hours, the subject loses consciousness and remains unconscious for 7-8 hours. Upon awakening, the subject claims to have seen the same thing that SCP-XXXX-01 showed, but was directly involved in this. Any damage sustained by the effect of a long-term view of SCP-XXXX-02 does not affect the person in any way.
SCP-XXXX-03 is a thirty four (34) seconds promotional video that plays at ████ every night. The video shows clouds on a background of stars. Voice announcer - male, although his identity has not been established. Text of SCP-XXXX-03 is represented in Addendum 1.
Addendum 1:
Thanks for using DTV, that knits up the ravelled sleave of care. The death of each day’s life, sore labor’s bath. Balm of hurt minds, great nature’s second course. Chief nourisher in life’s feast. We invite you to take your part in this adventure. Stay tuned. <Illegibly>
Addendum 2: I suppose that content of SCP-XXXX-03 alludes to the fact that SCP-XXXX-01 is broadcasting people's dreams. We still have to figure out the truth of this assumption. - Dr. █████
