Description: SCP-XXXX consists of two separate entities; XXXX-1a and XXXX-2a.

SCP-XXXX-1a is a 7.4cm tall humanoid entity with an intricate physiology that include the following: Two antennae¹ protrude from its forehead and act as an organic radio-transceiver that is used to communicate with SCP-XXXX-2a. Eyes inhabit a large volume of its face; appear completely black in color, and capable of perceiving visible to infrared electromagnetic wavelengths. It is physically asexual, lacks vocal cords, and excreting orifices. Feeding habit is hematophagous² and fulfilled via prehensile proboscis concealed within its thorax. Specimen's primary language is Scots but is also fluent in English. Initially a non-anomalous entity diagnosed with craniopagus parasiticus⁶ before encountering SCP-XXXX-1a. Anomalous features consist of a small mass of foreign tissue attached to the specimen's cochlear nerves that functions as an organic radio transceiver, which enables non-verbal communication between SCP-XXXX-2a and SCP-XXXX-1a. Researcher’s Note: It should be noted that SCP-XXXX-2a is fully capable of defending itself without the aid of SCP-XXXX-1a. In addition, should its host directly and needlessly assault an individual; it will generally not intervene unless it feels its host will expire from the altercation. This is not a constant and more of a personal belief of SCP-XXXX-1a; It’s a defender not an offender.

When SCP-XXXX-1a acquires sustenance from SCP-XXXX-2a, it administers a collection of anomalous chemical agents into the host's blood stream. These chemicals, in their default state, greatly enhance the host's immune and respiratory systems, actively reverse cellular senescence along with harmful genetic abnormalities, and enables full accelerated reconstitution of absent limbs, organs, and tissues. This variant of venom retains the same means of neutralization (immobility) but with a relentless focus on 'unpleasant' symptoms, which consist of the following in order of manifestation:

SCP-XXXX-2: Oh, well that's a wee bit complicated. His kind don't romance each-other to make more of themselves like we do. It's more like they bite you and later you vomit up another one, at least that's what he tells me.

Dr. ████: Right… as I was asking, why do you refer to SCP-XXXX-1 as Lio? Was that a name it chose itself or was it something you facilitated?

SCP-XXXX-2: Well… I call the wee man 'Lio' 'cause it's short for 'Little One.' Ah ken it's stupid, but I think it fits. He never really had a name before then.

Dr. ████: I see.

SCP-XXXX-2: Also… is yer heart feeling okay? Lio says something might be wrong with it… told me shortly before he went back to sleeping.

Dr. ████: What do you mean? What brought this subject up? Why does it think something's wrong with my heart?

SCP-XXXX-2: Wish ah could tell ye more, but that's all he told me.

However, I urge that you and him understand that the intentions of the Foundation, as a whole, is to secure, contain, and protect individuals such as yourselves from the rest of the world and vice versa.

SCP-XXXX-2: Aye, right.

Dr. ████: I… think that's enough for today. You may return to your quarters, miss Currie.

Dr. ████: Do you know of any other hosts he might have had?

SCP-XXXX-2: Actually… I'm the only one he's ever had.

Dr. ████: How can you be sure that he isn't lying to you? Is it possible that he might be manipulating you for his own ends?

SCP-XXXX-2: Doc, I wouldn't care if he was. Whatever he might have done in the past does not matter to me. He's never been anything but a sweet-heart to me and I'm not saying that because of the whole 'perfect health' thing. I'm saying it because he only ever tries to give me a balance between what I want and what I need, and he's not afraid of showing a little 'tough-love,' neither! Hell, he once gave me the flu to remind me of me own mortality. He doesn't want me to loose touch with who or what I am and cares enough that he's willing to sacrifice his companionship with me in order to save me from myself. So no, I don't think he's manipulating me and even if he was, I'm sure it'd be fur me own benefit.

Dr. ████: Forgive my insensitivity, miss Currie. I had not realize the depth of your relationship with SCP-XXXX-1 or 'Lio' as you call him. May I ask one last question before we conclude this interview?

SCP-XXXX-2: No… you're alright doc. It's just… Lio's done quite a lot for me for so little in return. When my sister was still attached to me, I saw how much me parents worked to keep us alive. It was hard, you know? I started to feel just as much a parasite as my sister. I should've died when I was born, least that what the doctors said. My mind went into a dark place during that time… then Lio comes along and gave us everything we've ever wanted; a normal life in exchange for what? A few drops of blood and someone to cuddle with. Just pisses me off when someone thinks he'd actually want to hurt me. Anyway, I'm running my gob, what's it you wanted to ask?

Dr. ████: How… exactly… did Lio get rid of your parasitic twin?

(SCP-XXXX-2 slowly gets up from its seat)

Closing Statement: The residence of SCP-XXXX-2a's biological progenitors were approached by Mobile Task Force Sigma-█ for the purpose of detaining SCP-XXXX-2b and SCP-XXXX-1b. Property's exterior was found vacant, interior of household revealed SCP-XXXX-2b and its progenitors anesthetized by SCP-XXXX-1b. SCP-XXXX-1b was reported expressing emotions synonymous with extreme sorrow associated with 'loss'. Entity did not resist detainment.

Physical and genetic analysis of SCP-XXXX-2b revealed it to be a fully developed non-anomalous human female, despite initially existing as the parasitic twin of SCP-XXXX-2a. Individual's parents were also clear of anomalous properties. Upon waking, all three subjects exhibited evidence of long-term memory manipulation; [REDACTED]. Medical records pertaining to SCP-XXXX-2a's birth has been altered to support this illusion and conflicting evidence purged. Individuals were administered Class - A amnesics and released.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX-1b expired approximately twenty-four hours after containment, apparently succumbing to starvation despite being intravenously fed Agent █████'s blood. Prior to expiration, specimen requested to be buried with its previous host upon her death.

It should be noted that the majority focus of SCP-XXXX is on SCP-XXXX-1a's physical capacity to defend against hostile threats and modify its host's physiology. As such, the following material has been deemed non-essential in this regard and is optional for perusal.

• The hands of SCP-XXXX-1a are capable of secreting a variety of substances that are highly effective in treating all manner of malignant integument (skin) conditions in addition to serving a vast array of aesthetics purposes.

• The wrists and forearms conceal an assortment of retractile 'utilities' that are used primarily for trimming hair and performing light-maintenance on small articles of cut clothing.

• Antennae fulfills an enormous amount of additional functions, such as the following:
  • Enables detection of CO2, CO, pheromones and other gases.
  • Extremely sensitive to bioelctromagnetic fields, enabling it to utilize electrophysiological / electrographic detection methods (EEG, EKG, etc.).
  • Production, spinning, and weaving of a strong web-like substance.
  • Sensitive to atmospheric vibrations (sound).
  • Plays a role in emotive expression and social bonding.

• Entity must consume three times its volume in blood every twenty-five hours when at an optimal temperature between 35°C to 39°C, less it succumb to starvation. Lower temperatures result in slower metabolism at the cost of psychological trauma. Higher temperatures, while resulting in exponential increase in cellular rejuvenation, equally increases the volume of sustenance needed, typically surpassing the speed of what can be naturally ingested.

• All Extremities (including head), when separated from the main body mass, actively attempt to locate and reattach to each-other via the sprouting of appendages described as possessing a 'dark blue' coloration. These appendages are generally similar to those found in members of the arthropoda phylum and possesses an innate 'knowledge' of where the central body mass is located. Once within suitable range, these appendages will depose into a thin-root like cluster that reattaches itself with joint or anatomic location it was severed from. Unwanted body hair, or excess head-hair, is removed or trimmed according to the preference of its host. After grooming, SCP-XXXX-1a may organize small items around the containment cell in a manner that its host would find pleasing or convenient. Clothing or fabric found lightly cut, torn, or ripped is tightly mended together. Description:

SCP-XXXX is a civilization composed of mechanical lifeforms of several distinct origins. The bulk of which largely resides within Sol's kupiter belt. Additional 'outposts' have been spotted around Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter, and Saturn, seemingly for the purpose of researching several known SCPs that they also consider 'anomalous.' SCP-XXXX has established a massive array of kinetic and high-energy sentry platforms, each housed with automated AI of superhuman intelligence tasked with [REDACTED].

While overall uniform in beliefs and goals, SCP-XXXX is actually composed of ███ distinctly different 'cultures', each claiming to originate from a different predecessor species. These cultures organize themselves into several different 'Schools of Thought,' wherein

SCP-XXXX-1: Instances of this 'School' consist of entities with Type █ superhuman intelligence and have proven totally unaffected by any and all cognito, info, memetic, and antimemetic hazards. Technology produced by SCP-XXXX-1 instances have, in all cases, exhibited anomalous properties despite them claiming that they completely adhere to the laws of physics. SCP-XXXX-2: Instances of this School are composed of cultures that have directly contributed to their predecessor species' extinction. Consequently, all cultures of this school are frighteningly adept in every field of weapons technology and display disturbingly efficient tactics in biological extermination. Despite these qualities, cultures of this school seem dedicated to the preservation and creation of rather difficult to destroy lifeforms, apparently as means to atone for what many claim was 'a harsh reaction.' Others claim such action was justified but wish they had 'handled it better.' Whatever the reason, XXXX-2 instances no longer exhibit hostility to organic lifeforms.

SCP-XXXX-3: Instances of this School seemed to have 'evolved' from the technological ruins of their parent species' civilization. All cultures of this group claim that their 'parents' had ultimately become extinct before developing interplanetary travel. The means of which various widely from natural cataclysms, direct or indirect self-eradication, and transcendence. Cultures of this school typically know little of their reason for creation and seem driven to assimilate knowledge of the unknown to fill this 'void.' Consequently, these instances have an extensive understanding of anomalous phenomenon but seem unwilling to share it with Foundation personnel, fearing that 'we'll misuse it as their creators did.'
