SCP-XXXX-1 trying to reach full potential, moments before it's captured

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid/possible Thaumiel

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is contained in a Standard Humanoid Containment Cell at Site-06-03. SCP-XXXX-1 is to be allowed to roam around Site-06-03 and interact with staff freely. The subject is to talk daily to a psychologist for at least an hour. It is encouraged to talk to SCP-XXXX-1 in order for him to see The Foundation as an ally. In the case of a breach, the room is to be filled with Halothane gas and randomized sounds with a frequency of 10.000Hz are to be played to stop it from using his abilities.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a Caucasian male of 19 years old. How he got to this age is currently unknown, just like where he came from. The subject is in good physical health, but shows signs of severe depression which is partly caused by his severe lack of sleep. SCP-XXXX-1 has the ability to create alternate realities trough dreaming and thinking. This is also the reason behind it's lack of sleep. The reason is that when it dreams, it's entering it's own made reality, and doesn't really sleep. When in this state he is impervious to damage by any means currently known to The Foundation. The subject is still visible with the naked eye and thermal imaging, but isn't physically there, the subject is in it's own created reality. Research to this phenomenon is still ongoing. SCP-XXXX-1 also shows no signs of aging when in this state, this possibly explains the young age. SCP-XXXX-1 is thought to be [REDACTED] years old.

The subject is very cooperative as long as it gets to walk and talk freely. During an interview it was found that SCP-XXXX-1 hasn't reached full potential yet. The meaning of this is further explained in the interview with Dr.█████ (See Addendum XXXX-A). The reason behind not having full potential is theorized to be due to it's lack of sleep. This was confirmed in the scrolls written by Dr. Jack █████, who he exactly is, and how he knew this is not yet known. Investigation in this character is still ongoing. These papers were found during a raid in [REDACTED] (see Addendum XXXX-B). The Foundation is currently testing means to help the subject reach it's full potential, because of the possible help it can give containing other SCP's (see Addendum XXXX-C).

Should SCP-XXXX-1 reach full potential and use it against The Foundation, the appropriate containment tactics are to be used. If these are not enough then Site-06-03 is to be evacuated and Scranton Reality Anchors are to be used to minimize the subjects manifestations1 in order to give MTF-teams the time to suppress or terminate SCP-XXXX-1.

Addendum XXXX-A: Interview of SCP-XXXX-1

Interviewed: SCP-XXXX-1

Interviewer: Dr.█████

<Begin Log>

Dr.█████: What is your name?

SCP-XXXX-1: My name does not matter, just like everything else I do.

Dr.█████: Is there any name you prefer?

SCP-XXXX-1: I always was a dreamer, so I guess you could call me The Dreamer. Even though my preference doesn't matter to anybody.

Dr.█████: Can you describe what exactly your abilities are. Notes down that the subject is showing signs of severe depression.

SCP-XXXX-1: I have the ability to create alternate realities by dreaming or thinking and while I'm doing that I'm not really in this world anymore. This means that I can't be harmed and also don't age at those moments. I haven't really reached my full potential yet, but what does it even matter?

Dr.█████: How do you know this, what exactly does your full potential include and how do you reach it?

SCP-XXXX-1: I can't really explain how I know, it's kind of like you know the world around you is real. My full potential if you're actually interested, because no one is. Is that I can serve as a gateway between this reality and my own created reality. The way I can reach I have not found yet, and I have tried a lot of ways.

Dr.█████: What can you make in those other realities? Notes down that it is interesting to see if The Foundation can help the subject in this matter.

SCP-XXXX-1: Everything I can think of really.

Dr.█████: Are you interested in us helping you reach your full potential? Notes down that there is potential to use the subject as a means to contain other SCP's and even to save humanity in times of an XK-Class End of the World Scenario

SCP-XXXX-1: Really? If you really want to, why not. Even though it's hard to believe someone wants to help me, I'm just a nobody. I have always wanted to reach my full potential, maybe then I will finally be happy.

<End Log>

Closing Statement: In order to make SCP-XXXX-1 see The Foundation as an ally we will appoint private psychologist or multiple to SCP-XXXX-1 and they will see the subject every day for at least an hour. It will also be able to roam around and talk to staff freely. A request to help him reach full potential is to be admitted to the O5-Council.

Addendum XXXX-C:

Note: Testing is approved by the O5-council, under oversight of Dr.█████
Test 1
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is put in a soundproofed room with no lights and told to sleep until it wakes up.

Test record: The subject slept for approximately [REDACTED] hours. It said it was a more peaceful night than any it had in a long time, but still had the same problem.

Test 2:
Description: Subject is put into a medically induced coma for [REDACTED] months.

Test record: SCP-XXXX-1 said it saw potential in this but it wasn't long enough.
"This is a step in the right direction." Dr.█████

Test 3:
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is to drink from SCP-576.

Test record: Test denied by O5-Council
"It seems logical, but we can't predict the impact of the dreaming part of SCP576." O5
