Special containment procedures: SCP XXXX is to be stored at Site [Redacted] and should be kept in 10x10 foot solid steel containment chamber with a single outlet located in the back wall. SCP XXXX must be kept in a constant ON state, plugged in and have no less than 3 backup generators connected to its main power supply. additionally these generators should be checked daily for signs of damage, tampering or wear and must be replace semi annually. Access to SCP XXXX containment chamber are strictly prohibited without the 2/3 majority vote of approval by the O5 counsel. 2 guards are to be placed outside SCP-XXXX containment chamber at all times and anyone attempting to enter without proper authorization is to be immediately detained for 72 hours and given class [REDACTED] amnestics.
In the event of a containment breach by SCP XXXX, national screening within the USA for symptoms of SCP XXXX should begin and once located be immediately recontained and all SCP XXXX instances detained and transferred to site [REDACTED] for containment.
New instances of SCP XXXX are to be recovered by [Redacted] of which a minimum of 4 members must be present.

All new instances of SCP XXXX-1 are to be relocated to site [redacted] in separate standard humanoid containment containers outfitted with a [redacted] lumens strobe light, 4 waterproof high decibel speakers, a large grated pipe connected to a [REDACTED] gallon water drum, cement flooring with large capacity drainage system in the floor and no other means of lighting. If at any time light other than the strobe light is present in SCP XXXX-1 containment chamber, the chamber is to be flooded with [redacted] gallons of standard tap water, the light must be extinguished and the SCP-XXXX-1 instance is to kept in total darkness for a minimum of 24 hours, accompanied by the song [REDACTED] played on repeat.

Description:
SCP XXXX is 7 minute video of a random series of events as seen from another person's eyes and are unique to the individual viewing it. the video is often described as being very low frame rate or similar to a slideshow, however with no latency or spacing in audio. upon viewing the video, subjects will become increasing anxious, distressed and disturbed, however are unable to pull their attention away from the video. Subjects forcible removed from viewing SCP XXXX, regardless of duration, will enter a thus far permanent coma. 3 minutes after viewing SCP XXXX subjects will become unresponsive to outside stimuli. 2 minutes later the subject will lose motor control, often flailing extremities and screaming nonsensically for a period of 30 seconds to 24 hrs. Subjects in this state for a duration of 2 or more hours have often resulted in the subjects death due to cardiac arrest or a comatose state as a result of sensory overload or extreme swelling of the brain.

Subjects that recover from SCP XXXX effects vary in individuals but all report extreme confusion, often not knowing where they are, inability to
remember the event and even forgetting their own name. This confusion fades in a matter of hours and subjects become fixated on memories of
the event. Subjects report normal objects, people or situations as "out of place" or unfamiliar, however still retain all memories of the subjects past
normally.
1-4 weeks after exposure, subjects will start predicting a specific future event hours or days before they occur, often mistaking these "visions" as hazy memories or dreams and will usually not place much importance on the subject. Upon passing of the predicted event, subjects will remark in a strong sense of deja vu. Immediately following the subject will collapse and die instantaneously through unknown means. shortly afterwards a small portion of these subjects will reanimate and become an instance of SCP XXXX-1.

SCP XXXX-1 instances contain the same physical appearance and personality of the individual that was reanimated. These newly created instances phycological state can range from euphoric relief to severe dread and panic.
All instances regardless of mental state continually try to explain their experience and current "state of being" often quoting their reality as a series of frames, [REDACTED] a tunnel, [REDACTED] or an endless repeating loop. SCP XXXX-1 will grow increasingly irritable with anyone other than another SCP XXXX-1 instance for their inability to fully realize and sympathize with the instance's description. After 24 hours of the instances creation, SCP XXXX-1 instances will display erratic forms of reality manipulation, from anything as mild as materializing objects from seemingly nothing, to a warping, [REDACTED] and transmogification of all material within a [REDACTED] mile radius. The full extent of SCP XXXX-1 abilities is currently unknown but is estimated to be [REDACTED]. SCP XXXX-1 instances exposed to a [REDACTED] lumens strobe light at near or total darkness will enter a dormant state with no anomylous properties. Additionally, total submersion in water leaves SCP XXXX-1 instances in a dazed state for an indeterminate amount of time.
