Special Containment Procedures: Object is to be kept in a standard euclid class containment cell in a locked, small, lead-lined steel box at Site-19. All personnel entering object's containment are to wear a radiation resistant suit and are to be instructed of the objects nature. No matter what class personnel they are. They must undergo full decontamination upon exiting and are to be given mild amnestic agents so they do not remember the event. In the event of a containment breach, Site-wide lockdown procedure XXXX-A is to be initiated. Every two weeks, object's box is to be replaced with a new one. Anyone who looks at it directly are to be deemed an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 and are to be terminated or to be sent to site-██ for further study.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a small grey doll that appears to be made out of yarn. When object is directly looked at, The "looker" will immediately contract an illness that management has decided to creatively name "Doll Disease". Stages of progression with symptoms are shown below:
Stage 1
• Massive fits of coughing and sneezing that last 1-3 minutes that begin immediately after initial line of sight is broken.
Stage 2 (3-4 days after initial line of sight)
• Will begin coughing and sneezing blood
• Nerve cells in the brain start dying at a rapid pace
Stage 3 (1 week after stage two began)
• Initial symptoms will fade out
• Brain will continue deteriorating
Stage 4 (2 weeks after stage 3)
• Will go unconscious
• Brain will continue deteriorating
Stage 5 (2 months after stage 4, Final Stage)
• Consciousness returns
• Melting of the eyes
• Starts growing new limbs in odd places
• Becomes extremely violent
Any person who contracts the "Doll Disease" is to be deemed an instance of SCP-XXXX-2. And should be terminated, unless ordered by a class 4 personnel to keep it alive for future study.
Furthermore, object appears to occasionally become animate, and shows this by the generation of two button eyes on its head. When it becomes animate there are two different states it could be in. The two states are as follows
Red State (Red Eyes)
Increases its size to size of an average human being (if there is enough space) and grows long threads on its arms with sharp metal points. Uses these threads as whips and controllable pieces of string used as arms of a sort. Becomes extremely aggressive.
Blue State (Blue Eyes)
Docile and gives off similar effects as SCP-999
Object also gives off a large amount of gamma and electromagnetic radiation though reasons for this are currently unknown.
Any damage done to the object will "heal" itself in a matter of microseconds. This is done by the string that makes up the object re-animating. And them connecting themselves back together through anomalous means.
