Yaryar

Item#: SCP-XXXX

Class: Euclid

SCP: SCP-XXXX must be contained in a vacuum in which no moisture can seep in or be created. If no moisture is available SCP-XXXX then it will shrink and cease to move due to lack of moisture. To reduce risk of SCP-XXXX receiving moisture, SCP-XXXX must be monitored with cameras, not glass. If after going into an idle state, that SCP-XXXX goes back to normal with exposure to moisture, SCP-XXXX’s container must be heated to at least 100 degrees C to boil off any excess moisture. No personal must be in SCP-XXXX’s container when attempting to put into an idle mode.

Description: SCP-XXXX was found in ████████, this creature seems to create its strength from absorbing water through, what seems to be, a form of algae growing all over its body. After testing it is discovered that when removed from moisture it ceases to move and goes into an idle, a sort of “standby” mode until moisture is available. When idle SCP-XXXX uses stored moisture to breathe by taking oxygen from the water, SCP-XXXX is able to survive in a vacuum due to this method. SCP-XXXX is over 2.4 meters tall, but when idle it shrinks to 62.5% of original height, making it only about 1.5 meters tall.

When SCP-XXXX starts to lose enough moisture to become idle, it becomes incredibly violent and moves around the container with high speed in search of moisture. If during this transition stage SCP-XXXX comes into contact with a creature that contains moisture, SCP-XXXX will attempt to take the moisture from a creature. If the creature struggles, SCP-XXXX will use blunt force, targeting the █████ and ████ to kill the creature then continue to take its bodily fluids. While moisture levels are met SCP-XXXX is not aggressive, but will attack is persons come too close and disturb it.
