WARNING: BY THE ORDER OF THE OVERSEER-COUNCIL
THE FILE IS CLASSIFIED AS LEVEL XXXX/5 CLASSIFICATION
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in an 8ft by 9ft (2.44 x 2.74m) standard humanoid containment unit constructed out of alloy steel. Proper beddings and bathrooms are to be provided. Additionally, SCP-XXXX can have five limit comic books for intervals of 10-hours per month and a laptop. SCP-XXXX is allowed to wander the facility freely.
Update Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in an enhanced humanoid containment cell guarded with two MTF members at the door entrance, and the rest are on the outside. SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a vast room measures 19ft by 27ft constructed out of alloy steel with electric walls that're at-least 25.5MV1 and separated far away from the Foundation within a 30-meter radius, installed with surveillances. Five Scranton reality anchors are to be put all around the containment unit, and a tracking device is attached to it. Additionally, SCP-XXXX can only have a laptop and some comic books for intervals of six hours every twelve months. The Foundation should provide food and drinks for intervals of ten hours passed in each day.
Any signs of the religious cult attempting to intrude SCP-XXXX's containment unit MTF-Optic-54 are to arrest and bring the cult into Foundation custody.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a Class-V Class-VI reality-bending humanoid entity formerly known as "Janual Grey", another name as "Yashugho" born on █/█/████ and is now 16 years old. However, it turned ageless after discovering its abilities. SCP-XXXX is capable of breaking physics laws. Approximately 2 feet tall, it has moppy black hair, empty white eyes, razor-sharp claws, pointy teeth, and two pitch-black tentacle-like wings with a spiked ridge growing behind it's back. An unhinged jaw to support him in having a better advantage to consume more extensive food has an affinity for black-themed clothing. SCP-XXXX shows no signs of hostility. Being cooperative and helpful capable of speech was also observed to have a latent reactive adaptivity that allows him to develop a body observed to have extremely high strength and adapt to any environment brought into except durability and agility of all kinds. For some unknown reasons, the reactive adaption doesn't support SCP-XXXX in developing high agility and durability. Currently, SCP-XXXX can run up to 37.08 km/h - 44.748 km/h and can still be easily knockout or injured by anything that can harm or kill a typical average human. However, in SCP-XXXX cases, it doesn't die as it is some kind of immortal being that can suffer pain but can't die. SCP-XXXX was proven to be injured by things that're made out of solid materials and can deal with physical damages2.
SCP-XXXX's reality-bending was shown to have corrupted it's "good luck" as it brought back serious "bad luck" upon SCP-XXXX resulted in him struggled with misfortune events during the aftermath of using its reality-bending abilities. This leads to the part where he really hates the effects brought back by its reality-bending abilities and doesn't use it a lot and instead goes with basic hand to hand combat. This causes SCP-XXXX sometimes to be hospitalized after each accident. All the accidents that happen to it in the aftermath of using its reality-bending powers are:
Accidents when still hasn't been held in Foundation custody:
- Getting crush by a boulder.
- Attacked by wild animals.
- Falling out from a waterfall and end up being crash into rock's making all of its bones being cracked.
- Trapped in wild-fire.
Accidents that happen when being held in Foundation custody:
- Crashed by the cafeteria lights and gets zapped.
- Poor word choice resulted in angering hostile SCPs and choosing to be their targets.
Addendum-XXXX-01: Discovery.
SCP-XXXX was first found on █/█/████ when the Foundation was tracking down an SCP-object that is believed to responsible for causing out disastrous phenomenons upon the mountain highways. As an MTF was dispatched to retrieve the anomalous-object, they've confronted SCP-XXXX being very injured due to getting crushed and hit by giant boulders while attempting to retrieve the object and destroy put an end to the disastrous events that were caused by it. However, the Foundation quickly convinced him not to destroy the object and let them take it from here while also convincing him to follow them back and be held in Foundation custody.
Foreword: The following log describes SCP-XXXX having an interview session with Dr. Leon. He wants to gather some information about the subject.
<Begin Log>
Dr. Leon: OK, state your name, date of birth, and age, including family.
SCP-XXXX: My name is Janual Grey. I'm ██ years old, born on █/█/████, I live with my mother named, and my grandmother.
Dr. Leon: OK, so, Janual, may you explain to me why did you save that family?
SCP-XXXX: Is that why I was being brought into here? To this super-secret governmental organization?
Dr. Leon: If that's what you want to call it then, go ahead.
SCP-XXXX: OK, so what was your early question again?
Dr. Leon: I'm curious why you save that family instead of killing them like an actual monster.
SCP-XXXX: That's what I do, I mean, just because I'm like this does not mean I still act like a human, I mean what? It isn't straightforward, sir. Everything all started when I had a blackout in Acadia National Park when I was camping.
Dr. Leon: Can you explain to me about it?
SCP-XXXX: Yeah, sure, sure, when my friends and I were going on a camping trip at Acadia National Park. When we were in the middle of telling scary stories deep in the woods, I've suddenly felt dizzy, overwhelmed, and sleepy. I've blackout all of a sudden and soon found myself lying in the middle of the woods, but not back at the camping site where my friends and I have set up. The fact is that I don't know how I got there. I was first thoughted that maybe my friends were playing a big prank on me. I think that perhaps the campsite isn't so far away, since there's no way they could leave me very far from the camp.
Dr. Leon:, OK. Go on.
SCP-XXXX: However, I've walked, walked, and walked furthermore, but no sign of the campsite anywhere. Instead, I just felt more lost, like I'm going in the wrong direction, but I didn't jump to that conclusion very soon. I didn't want to say that I'm lost. I've kept walking, walking and walking more, but no sign of the campsite anywhere at all. And, that's when I've concluded that I'm lost.
Dr. Leon: I see. But that doesn't explain how you've discovered your powers, Janual.
SCP-XXXX: Well, I'm now getting to it, sir, as I was saying, I've learned from basic surviving on books that I've read, that if we ever get lost deep in the woods, we must always follow the direction of the downstream of a river, and that's when I've seen it when I look into the river, I've to see my reflection, my eyes have no pupils, and my clothes are covered in bloodstains, it was covered in fucking bloodstains!
Dr. Leon: I see, and what did you do afterward?
SCP-XXXX: I was fucking frightened, sir. I didn't know why do I have bloodstains on my clothes. I've got no memories of it at all. Still, after learning that I'm no longer human, I think perhaps I must've accidentally consumed humans in the forest. However, strange, this situation never occurs later. As like it only happens once when I discover my powers.
Dr. Leon: I see. So, Janual, do you think that you may have eaten your friends, after all, you couldn't find them, right?
SCP-XXXX: (Takes a deep breath and sighs) Yes, I think I must've done that. I felt disgusting from eating my kind, although I don't even know if I'm allowed to call myself a "human" anymore.Dr. Leon: Mhm, but Janual, may you explain to me whether, if not, do you have any anomalous properties?
SCP-XXXX: Anomalous properties? Wah?
**Dr. Leon: It's a term we would use to say the so-called "superpowers". Anything regarding supernatural effects and unexplainable phenomenons is all used to be called "anomalous properties".
SCP-XXXX: Oh, I certainly know what my powers are. I believe it is what the world called reality-warping. I was able to warp a large fraction of reality. I believe it is one of those advanced level reality-warping abilities as it was written on the Powers and Abilities wiki.
Dr. Leon: OK, may you also tell me more about the anomalous properties, but something else than that.
SCP-XXXX: Well, to be more specific, I don't use it a lot, though. The reason was because of my misfortunes.
Dr. Leon: Misfortunes? Can you be more specific?
SCP-XXXX: Yeah, strangely, my reality-bending abilities might be powerful, like the type that can bend physics laws and perform inconceivable feats, but it somewhat brought back serious bad lucks upon me. There was a time when I was starving. I've formed a hamburger to eat it since I haven't been eating any of those for days ever since being like this, but I was crushed by a boulder several hours later. I presumed that it must be an accident. Still, these accidents have inside the woods, such as falling off from the waterfalls and end up being crash onto a bunch of rocks beneath it, being attacked by wild animals in the forest, getting crushed by trees and rocks, and suffering pain from escaping while stranded in a wildfire. In-fact there was a time I must rescue a bear being threatened by its kind, and I fucking killed those bears by accident. I've landed a kick on each of them, right on their head, and they die afterward.
Dr. Leon: I see, go on.
SCP-XXXX: So, after a long time of figuring, I realized that it was because of my reality-bending abilities and curses. I shout out, "This isn't gifted powers, more like a curse," I was freaking cursed. I have great power, and I also have a great responsibility, but it necessarily had to have a great price. This isn't "Great power comes with great responsibility". This is more like "Great power comes with a great price".
Dr. Leon: Yes, I see, go on.
SCP-XXXX: Urgh, which is why I've hated the effects of my powers. I'm OK with having great powers, but I'm not OK with the price I have to carry along with me. I mean, what did I do wrong to deserve this? My KARMA is not even at the level of negative.
SCP-XXXX: See what I mean?
(Dr. Leon was silent for a while)
Dr. Leon: I see by that.
SCP-XXXX: Urgh, my life is completely ruined, but I know I must move on, so I've decided to only use reality-bending at the perfect moment. I've switched my initial ways of fighting into good old fashion hand to hand combat. However, it makes sense since I wield superhuman strength also.
Dr. Leon: Wait, don't you have any super durability or agility?
SCP-XXXX: No, I don't. My super strength slowly grows each time my body gets into trouble or goes into a fistfight. I learned that I must have some weak reactive adaption based on the Powers and Abilities wiki. The reason why I learned that was because the evidence showed that I'd developed a regeneration ability after having to go through several painful things inside of the woods. My body somewhat begins to heal faster than a normal human. This slowly gets until a few months later. My regeneration has evolved to the level where I was able to heal from heavy body injuries. However, I can still feel a lot of pain. Just to let you know, I'm delighted whenever I don't have to get into situations related to pain.
Dr. Leon: OK, thank you for answering my questions, but before you leave, I have one final thing to ask, how calm you don't feel hungry while spending your time in the woods?
SCP-XXXX: I don't know. It just suddenly feels like I'm not into eating things that make me feels disgusting.
Dr. Leon: I see, all right, thank you for your collaboration.
SCP-XXXX: Yeah, no problem.
<End Log>
Closing Statements: The interview that I'm having with SCP-XXXX was a success, as I was able to collect some information regarding his powers, and that we're dealing with is a Class-5 reality-warper with a weakness as suffocating "bad lucks" after using it. However, the origin of his powers is a complete unknown. Maybe some days we'll find out about it.
Addendum-XXXX-02: DOCUMENTS OF SCP-XXXX'S EXPERIMENTS.
Document-XXXX-01: On █/█/███ the Foundation put SCP-XXXX into some experiments to test the capabilities of his intelligence and some anomalous properties, the following initial testings show:
Document-XXXX-02: On █/█/███ SCP-XXXX was asked to demonstrate one of its anomalous properties to the Foundation.
Addendum-XXXX-03: These are all of the records of the "bad luck" SCP-XXXX was mentioning in the aftermath of using his reality-bending powers.
Addendum-XXXX-04: Recovered Logs.
On █/█/████, head researcher Dr.██████, assigned to managed SCP-XXXX, discovered some unprinted documents contain information about SCP-XXXX, further of checking to see whether what is written on the files, Dr.██████ founds out that the file's data were messages of other personnel who claimed to be the former researchers assigned to managed SCP-XXXX. Dr.██████ recovers the deleted files. However, all of its data was deleted for unknown reasons, except for the messages left by the researchers and a message from a strange anomaly that claimed to be SCP-XXXX's father. When Dr.██████ finishes reading the documents, these reports were soon sent to the O5-Council.
Foreword: The following log describes SCP-XXXX having an interview session with Dr. Henderson. As what is told by the message of O5-12, we must collect information about SCP-XXXX.
<BEGIN LOG>
Dr. Henderson: Alright, Janual, care to explain why did you do so?
SCP-XXXX: Do what? I didn't do anything, but why am I in here?
Dr. Henderson: Please, Janual, do you know why you here?
SCP-XXXX: No, but why am I here exactly?
Dr. Henderson: So, you have no idea, huh, the fact that you've re-shape reality and replaced your former head researchers with other head researchers.
SCP-XXXX: Wait? I've re-shaped reality? I didn't remember recalling anything like that.
Dr. Henderson: Yes.
SCP-XXXX: Sir, may you explain to me what is happening?
Dr. Henderson: Apparently, one of the researchers assigned to be one of my assistance has discovered unprinted files inside the database. All of these were notes left-back by former head researchers that were assigned to manage you. They all claimed that you re-shape reality. However, other than this, there were also records that you've proven to be disorganized with the Foundation. Don't you recall any of that?
SCP-XXXX: No, I don't, but why would I want to re-shape reality, not unless if I want to have serious bad lucks, but how can you prove that I've re-shape reality? When nothing has happened to me in the past few weeks?!
Dr. Henderson: Alright, I suppose you must've lost your memories, and I bet "he" is responsible for doing so. Janual, may you tell me whether if you have met your father?
SCP-XXXX: My father? Well, I've never actually met him. My mom said that he left us when I was given birth.
Dr. Henderson: May you tell us how did your mother meet your father?
SCP-XXXX: Well, she said she and he made a coincident in meeting up at the Church.
Dr. Henderson: I see, that's all I need. For now, you'll be staying in this new place as your new home. I hope you can understand why.
SCP-XXXX: Yes.
<END LOG>
Closing Statements: SCP-XXXX's father must've erased its memories about the past events, assuming that currently SCP-XXXX doesn't remember nor even recall a piece of its memories of the past realities that it existed in. At this point, further information can't be collected.
Incident-Report XXXX-01: On █/█/████ a religious cult group that're reality-benders has infiltrated and start chaos upon SIte-17. As a result, in many casualties. Further of do, the cult seems to be looking for SCP-XXXX. They've decided to separate into groups. One would distract us, and others would find SCP-XXXX. After several hours of dealing with the cult, they stopped all of a sudden. They spontaneously disappeared into thin air as they said that their work here is done. One of the members of the assigned MTF to managed SCP-XXXX reported that the cult has broken into SCP-XXXX's containment unit, as all of the squad was killed and requested for more backup. When the backup arrives and charges into SCP-XXXX's containment unit, the cult just spontaneously disappeared. SCP-XXXX was questioned about what the cult was saying to it.
Foreward: The following log describes SCP-XXXX having another interview with Dr. Lambeck. Lambeck is trying to find out what the cult was attempting to do with SCP-XXXX.
<BEGIN LOG>
Dr. Lambeck: Alright, how are you doing now, SCP-XXXX?
SCP-XXXX: Yes, I'm fine, thanks.
Dr. Lambeck: Good, good, now listen, from earlier, a cult has infiltrated into your containment unit, correct?
SCP-XXXX: Yeah, I was in the middle of laying down on the bed and staring at the ceiling when suddenly those guys just bust in.
Dr. Lambeck: What did they say? What did the cult say to you?
SCP-XXXX: They were saying that their here to set me free. I was perplexed, sir.
Dr. Lambeck: Can you be more specific? Like did you ask the cult why do they want to "free" you?SCP-XXXX: Yes, yes, I did. They said they're taking me back to their hideouts, where I would meet with my father. I was shocked and also confused. I mean, why would my father be so related to the cult. I've asked them who or what exactly is my father, they said, "The Unnamed Darkness" I don't know why they're using the title of an [REDACTED], I mean, how calm I am the son of a Lovecraftian horror?
Dr. Lambeck: OK, did you also ask whether your father and your mother met each other?
SCP-XXXX: No, I was just wondering why were those peoples inside of my "home".
Dr. Lambeck: I see, OK, that's all I need.
Closing Statements: There was no information regarding the cult at all nor anything about SCP-XXXX's origins. As for now, I will send these reports to the Foundation.
Report-01: After several weeks have passed, the Foundation was finally able to discover the location of the cult's hideout. The place where SCP-XXXX's father and mother have first met, the Church, as MTF-Dawn-34, "Backup Reporters", was dispatched to utilize the whole religious cult group. During the process, they captured a few of the cult members, but some has escaped. When they were brought into Foundation custody, researcher Woodmark interviewed one of them.
Foreword: The following log describes an interview having between Dr. Woodmark and Elerian Jack, the leader of the cult. Woodmark wants to find some answers about the purpose of SCP-XXXX being brought to existence.
<BEGIN LOG>
Dr. Woodmark: Alright, state your name.
Elerian Jack: Elerian, Elerian Jack, the leader of the "Servants of Magnum."
Dr. Woodmark: OK, Elerian, I need you to tell me what exactly is the purpose of SCP-XXXX being born, Janual Grey is the name of it, by the way, and he must also be the person that you're looking for.
Elerian Jack: The master's son, yes, we were looking for him, the master wants us to bring his son to him.
Dr. Woodmark: OK, then may you also explain to us how was Janual born? According to what we've received, he doesn't know anything about his father, may we please asked.
Elerian Jack: Yes, yes, we were also aware that these questions would be asked. You see here. We are the descendants of the peoples who worship 'him'.
Dr. Woodmark: 'him'? You mean "Magnum"?
Elerian Jack: We served him.
Dr. Woodmark: May you be specific like, how was Janual was born, like how did "Magnum" met his mother? Was she apart of the cult and was chosen by him?
Elerian Jack: No, it was just a coincidence, our master and that woman met each other while he was about to explore this universe, to see what it inhabits, of course. After performing the ritual was a success, he was summoned into the very world, in the body of a sacrifice that we've made. When he first exited the basement of the Church, it was Christmas at that moment. The master's chosen woman took her mother to the Church to listen to some of the children performing their singing. Our lord seduced her and was successfully able to convince her to have a child. That's where the young master comes in. However, we wouldn't quickly call him "young master", the master said that his son didn't follow in his footsteps, and giving birth to him was a big mistake. The master wants to find out what it would be if he had any offspring between a human and him.
Dr. Woodmark: Wait? How calm no one caught you, peoples, it's beneath the Church, wasn't someone apart of that Church supposed to discovered your hideouts?
Elerian Jack: Bold of you, sir, don't you get it, huh? We ARE the peoples from the Church. To avoid any suspicion from the public, we disguised ourselves as peoples who work in the Church while secretly worshipping Magnum.
Dr. Woodmark: Oh, I see, then, so, if Janual wasn't that important to your "master," then why would your master need Janual?
Elerian Jack: I don't know, when we asked the Lord, he didn't reply and said that it's his business, not ours, we didn't want to defy our great lord, so we just did our things.
Dr. Woodmark: I see.
<END LOG>
*Closing Statements:** Right, we're getting somewhere, and we also finally knew the origins behind Janual. However, something tells me there are more things these cults are keeping. I would recommend gathering more information about them.
Report-02: On the next day, when one of the Site researchers were about to conduct a second interview session with the cult, Dr. Albert was tasked to collect some more in-needed information about SCP-XXXX from the cult. However, when Albert enters the room of the cult leader, Elerian Jack, he was gone. Dr. Albert quickly alarmed the whole facility. When the Foundation checks on the other cult members, it is discovered that they were also gone. It would've appeared as the cult escaped from last night. MTF-Origin-710, "Interlopers Unity", was currently tasked to track down the cult as they arrived back at the Church, there was nothing. The basement was gone as if it was moved somewhere. The MTF-Origin-710 reported this back to the Foundation that they found nothing except for a note written as:
"We're no longer here. The Lord commands that we migrate to a different location. Of course, the Lord would be aware that you might track us down, which is why he'd give us a place where not even your SCP-Foundation wouldn't be able to locate us. We were just tasked to deliver a message to the young master. That is why we remained inside the facility for earlier times. We could've broken out anytime we want to. There is no one."
