SCP-XXXX "R, The Android Under The Gulf" OC: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:
Containment is nearly impossible, as it spans almost the entirety of the gulf coast. Communication stations inside special oil rigs are our only way of communicating with SCP-XXXX, as such no vehicles, land, sea, or air, that aren't under use by SCP foundation members, must be stopped from boarding the rigs. Around each rig should be a 1 mile exclusion zone, where no vehicles may enter without clearance. All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 shall be locked in a 10m by 10m room with a standard american style garage door, reinforced with iron bars and panic shutters, that replaces one of the rooms wall in site 33, an emp shall be fitted above the door in case of emergency. Any activated instance of SCP-XXXX-2 shall be removed from SCP-XXXX-1 and taken into a standard human 5x5 cell with no furnishings, except for another emp fitted to the cailing of the cell. 4 instances of SCP-XXXX-2 can be locked in one cell at once, and once they deactivate, they shall be returned to SCP-XXXX-1.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a robotic being not of this world. The specimen is believed to be round at its base, with over [REDACTED] limb like structures confirmed to be spreading out from the sphere. Although the entirety of the being has not fully been uncovered, the foundation is sure that the specimen is 1.5e+6 meters in diameter. SCP-XXXX does not speak in any form of human language, but contact was established through the use of [REDACTED], with the [REDACTED] to convert its speech into our language. The first communications established with SCP-XXXX came to nothing more than a proof of its intelligence, and a short message explaining itself. Listed below is the transmission we received with full stops in place as spaces.
19 11 37 37 47. 23. 2 41. 61. 23 19 2 79 11.
When translated this message reads "hello I am R" which is where the android has been given its name. SCP-XXXX is made of a chromium and steel alloy combination, making its out shell very durable and nearly indestructible compared to conventional firearms.
In recent years communications between R and the foundation have been shown to turn hostile, as SCP-XXXX is quite boastful about it's intelligence, and that it's always learning. The being also seems to be quite upset if you mention a species on dinosaur named "Pleurocoelus" as this particular was his favorite. As such there is a list of topics banned from being mentioned in communications, which is listed below.
-Dinosaurs (devastated by their extinction)
-"Natural Disasters" around the coastal areas of North and Central America (has taken the news as use blaming R for the disasters)
-Space Exploration (transmissions received from SCP-XXXX will be about how much R misses space, and how SCP-XXXX would do almost anything to be back in space)
-Hit TV Show "That So Raven" (perceives as hostile, no explanation given)
-[REDACTED] ([DATA LOST])
Communication with SCP-XXXX shall be kept away from those topics and as short as possible. Messages must be approved by at least 2 of the 3 communication experts who draft the messages. Only qualified personnel are allowed to see the transmissions we send or receive.
Addendum A:
SCP-XXXX-1 (Euclid) is a cylindrical flying ship that most represents a saucer. Occasionally an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 will break containment, or will be launched off the body of SCP-XXXX. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 has been spotted on multiple occasions, with some claims saying they were brought into the interior of the ship, and forces to be probed. A small propaganda campaign has made a majority of the public not believe these claims.
SCP-XXXX-2 (Euclid) are small humanoid androids that reside inside SCP-XXXX-1. Almost all instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are between 1.3 and 1.9 meters tall, devoid of facial features except for 2 black lenses that appear to be where the androids see from. SCP-XXXX-2 all have a different paint schemes, but all use only light blue and yellow, all instances of SCP-XXXX-2 also have a presumed serial code in white raised letters in an un-readable language on the back of its head. Recorded breach attempts have shown SCP-XXXX-2 does carry hidden weaponry, when threatened or stopped during a breach, instances of SCP-XXXX-2 seem to have retracted their hands inside their arm appendage. A few seconds later the hole was replaced with a device resembling a funnel, that when activated shot a beam of plasma at the target, ensuring almost instant death if the plasma hit any crucial organs. when the arm or the funnel were shot off and SCP-XXXX-2 was still in an active state, it would replace the broken funnel with a straight edge that resembles a sword and charge at the onsite security team, or if both arms were broken they would enter a self destruct mode and charge at personnel nearby.
Addendum B:
Incident reports:
On Aug / [][] / [][][][], 10 instances of SCP-XXXX-2 were observed to be destroying an instance of SCP-XXXX-1. Once the ship was destroyed, 9 more instances of SCP-XXXX-2 joined the other 10 in destroying the garage door that leads to the cell. Security team ZF15-A and ZF15-B were alerted and placed on guard outside the cell, immediately once the door was destroyed enough for a hole to be climbed through, team ZF15-A opened fire, 18 instances of SCP-XXXX-2 returned fire, while 1 instance returned into the now damaged instance of SCP-XXXX-1 and entered a dormant state. Camera footage caught the battle on video, showing an SCP-XXXX-2 victory, with [REDACTED] casualties, 15 instances of SCP-XXXX-2 survived, and they continued throughout the building, once they reached a long hallway they met ZF15-B, armed with an emp they quickly took care of 14 instances of SCP-XXXX-2 with 1 instance charging in an apparent suicide attack, resulting in [REDACTED] casualties, and 5 injuries.
Security protocol updated to include the use of a reinforced door and for an emp to be fitted above the door.
On Dec/ [][] / [][][][], an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 re-powered itself, and promptly attempted to break down the door. The in-cell emp was activated and a team of D-class were instructed to remove the battery from the ship.
Security protocol updated to include the removal of the ships battery
