Special Containment Procedure: SCP-4395 is to reside in a standard containment unit with basic furnishings given. Additionally a workshop has been built adjacent to its containment unit in order to better utilise the entity. SCP-4395 is granted limited access to the workshop for the purpose of analysing the capabilities of the entity. The workshop is to be remotely monitored by staff to ensure entity does not deviate from it's task.

On the rare occasion SCP-4395 deviates from it's original task; monitoring staff must immediately command the entity to cease assembly and return to its containment unit.1 An interview (Addendum 4395-4) with the entity suggests that the reason for it's occasionally deviancy is boredom.

All objects forged by SCP-4395 are to be confiscated upon completion and stored at Vault 19 within the Site.

Description: SCP-4395 is a 1.7m tall humanoid composing of numerous metal plates shaped to replicate the physique of an adult human male with leather at the 'joints' of the body. Numerous markings have been stamped onto the metal plates.

Following an initial interview (Addendum 4395-2) conducted by Dr. Inchgarth, SCP-4395 revealed the entity was once human and that the markings bound the metal plates to the limbs of the encased subject so as the organic body decomposes over time the consciousness of the subject is transferred to the metal 'body' to retain cognitive and mobile function via these markings.
