Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4623 is stationed by its own accord in a 30 by 30 by 20 foot chamber with 20 wooden bookshelves. SCP-4623 is allowed to have any objects it requests as long as said objects do not violate security or safety protocols. SCP-4623 is not allowed to roam outside of its chamber and it may only interact with staff with O-5 approval.
Description: SCP-4623 appears to be a human of English descent. SCP-4623 is also a devout Cristian. it prefers to wear holy vestments and but it is willing to wear other outfits if need be. SCP-4623 appears to be around the age of 70. it responds to the name William Chatwyn. Or Brother William. SCP-4623 claims to have been born on July 23, 1534.
SCP-4623 possesses approximately 4,000 books. each book is kept in SCP-4623's chamber. each book (known as SCP-4623-A) contains the entire history of one topic or a current catalog of one subject. every copy of SCP-4623-A contains a seemingly infinite number of pages. except for 6 copies of SCP-4623-A. these 6 copies are stated in Addendum 4623-1. as well as the names, contents, appearance, and properties of all copies of SCP-4623-A. SCP-4623 is the only human being capable of reading the contents of any copy of 4623-A. And, after further testing, SCP-4623 is able to read any written or visual language. including code languages. SCP-4623 enjoys sharing its knowledge with those who are willing to know of a certain topic. But, SCP-4623 is only willing or able to answer some questions. the certain questions that provoke unusual responses are listed in Addendum-4623-2

every instance of SCP-4623-A appears to be a leather-bound hardcover book. All instances of SCP-4623-A are colored blue and have a gold-colored border. the front and back cover of any instance of SCP-4623-A only contain the gold-colored border and its. The title of each instance of SCP-4623-A is colored gold and is a one-word explanation of its contents. for example, a book named America details the history of America. there seems to be an instance of SCP-4623-A for every important facette of earth history. Including ██████████████. Many instances of SCP-4623-A have a seemingly infinite number of pages. and if an instance of SCP-4623-A is opened from any side, it opens to the first page. All copies of SCP-4623-A can't be damaged in any way The three instances of SCP-4623-A with a finite number of pages are named;

when asked a question about the nature of the universe, space, or something else of a similar magnitude, SCP-4623 will usually respond with "only God should know" and it will not answer any further questions for at least an hour. when asked any questions about [data lost], SCP-4623 will be surprised as he begins to [data lost]. SCP-4623 has knowledge of every known SCP in containment. and has further knowledge about several SCPs that are not currently in containment.

So, Brother William, (SCP-4623 nods) do you know when people can die?
SCP-4623: Yes.
Dr. Taylor: could you give me an example?
SCP-4623: (walks to a nearby bookshelf and reaches up to take hold of a form of SCP-4623-A and bring it back to the table. the form of SCP-4623-A is labeled; Humanity. SCP-4623 flips through the book until it lands on a page.) Here, a man named Mr. Moore will die in 15 minutes.
Dr. Taylor: ok. how did you get all of these books?
SCP-4623: My father gave all of these books to me. and his father gave these to him. and so on.
Dr. Taylor: how far do you know they go back?
SCP-4623: (walks to another bookshelf. grabs a copy of SCP-4623-A labeled Family from the shelf. SCP-4623 sit's back down as it flips through many pages for some time. flipping past the perceived number of pages held in the book before landing on one page in what appears to be in the very middle of the book.) these books go back for seven generations.
Dr. Taylor: yeah. and before that?
SCP-4623: I'd say it probably goes back to god.
Dr.Taylor: Really?
SCP-4623: Yes
