BY UNANIMOUS AGREEMENT OF ALL SCP PERSONNEL
SCP-[REDACTED]-j is really dangerous, and you must read the article first after you join the Foundation.
— O5-1
Item #: SCP-[REDACTED]-j
Object Class: [DATA REDACTED UNDER ORDER OF O5 COUNCIL] Apollyon Really dangerous uh oh [DATA EXPUNGED]] Verepericulo1
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-[REDACTED]-j, dare we say its horrifying terrifying name, is to be destroyed as soon as possible. Methods of destroying it have become a science in the Foundation, and every personnel, even D-class, are instructed to find a way to destroy it as soon as possible.
For now, SCP-[REDACTED] is to be kept inside a locked safe inside an Apollyon containment cell. It is to be treated as an Apollyon SCP until better containment procedures are developed. The safe is locked with 100 digit security, and is located inside a puzzle. The puzzle solution is only known by one man, designated SCP-[REDACTED]-j-a, who is to pass the solution down to his children. In the event of SCP-[REDACTED]-j-a's premature death, instructions to their family are to be followed.
The puzzle and containment cell itself are located in a spherical chamber 100 km in diameter and a shell 50 km thick. The shell is made of alternating layers of kevlar, diamond, carbon nanotubes, graphite, the hide of SCP-682, and ultra-strong polymers. The shell itself is to be kept 28,402 light-years away from Earth, near the Sagittarius A* black hole near the centre of the Milky Way galaxy.
Site-02 has been built around SCP-[REDACTED]-j for the sole purpose of containing it. It has ███,███,███,███,███ flashlights around it, powered by a perpetual energy source built specifically by the Foundation for this purpose. Site-02 is disguised as the star S2. Missions to the centre of the Milky Way are to be prevented at all costs. Every 1 meter of shell material is separated by fluoroantimonic acid, mixed with far weaker acids to create a threatening brew.
The last 50 km surrounding the containment chamber are guarded by 149,000 replicas of SCP-682, which were created using SCP-████.
Description: [DATA EXPUNGED]
The teddy bear in the middle of the spatial anomaly is non-anomalous.
Addendum: On 30 Jul 2021 21:39, the decision was made to send a message back using new Foundation technology. The test message went like this:
[BEGIN LOG]
It's just a teddy bear, you idiots. There's nothing scary about it. I repeat, there's nothing scary about it.Stop wasting your manpower. We don't die in the dark just to do this!
— O5-1
[END LOG]
Along the way, however, the message was ruined and distorted by multiple time warps to wrong eras, including 1902, 1894, 142 BCE, 698 CE, and even 128,994 BCE, until eventually landing at its current position in May 1943. Even then the message was illegible, and had to be sent through the Foundation beta version spell check technology.2
The following message emerged from the spellcheck technology.
[BEGIN LOG]
SCP-[REDACTED]-j is really spooky, and the O5 Council has moved to destroy it.Your manpower isn't wasted by its destruction, so destroy it immediately!
— O5-1
[END LOG]
It is believed this caused a causality event, after a document revealing a secret O5 vote was revealed.
Addendum 2: The following message was recieved January 24, 24 BCE, from Jaeklyn Brutus, head of Sitium XIX. The organization seems to be a Roman predecessor to the modern SCP Foundation. Message has been roughly translated from Latin, and appears to be a 682 termination log.
