An accident on ███████ Avenue has claimed the lives of two people. Victims were identified Ana Henderson and Christine Perras. Documents recovered revealed that the car was driving across ██████ Avenue when a head-on collision occured with a █████ █████.

Ana was killed instantly upon collision due to blunt force trauma, meanwhile Christine stayed alive for ██ more seconds before passing out due to extreme blood loss. Christine was delivered to hospital where she died hours later.

Police have ruled out drunk driving as the cause, as Christine was found to have had a phone in her hands. They are still investigating whether foul play has been involved in the incident.

Vents are not to be allowed within 10 metres of the containment cell of SCP-xxxx. The light system has been designed to be repairable from the outside. Entry into the containment chamber requires Level 04/xxxx clearance. SCP-xxxx is not allowed to leave containment in fear of a breach for other SCPs at the site. Interviews are to be conducted using speaker systems. Nothing is allowed inside SCP-xxxx's danger zone. Anything inside the room is to be plastered with tiny Scranton Reality Anchors in case it gets affected by SCP-xxxx's effect. I chose you for a reason.

Description: SCP-xxxx appears to be a European woman aged 39 years old, currently standing at 1.9 metres in height. SCP-xxxx has been genetically identified to be Christine Perras, who was believed to have died in a car accident on April 29, 2019. It has been measured to have an above average intelligence of 114. SCP-xxxx exerts an anomalous sphere of influence, currently known to be bound within the containment chamber.

Within this sphere of influence, objects occasionally disappear and reappear from the plain of existence. Testing has revealed that this is based off of the elements in the nearby area. Hydrogen seems to disappear once every two (2) seconds, followed by helium, having a 50% chance. Any element in the room has a 1/n chance of disappearing every 2 seconds, where n is the atomic number. Uranium, for example, has about a 1.08696% chance of disappearing. The element then reappears one (1) nanosecond after, in the location where they disappeared. SCP-xxxx is unaffected by any of these changes.

Due to the effects of this change, it is extremely hazardous to enter the containment chamber. Experiments with D-class personnel and organic material show that when moving, subject appears to dissipate into a mist and "juxtapose" onto the reappearing material. Cause of death of the subjects has been theorized to be [DATA EXPUNGED], causing disruption of organ systems, and ultimately, multiple organ failure. This has been hypothesized to be linked to SCP-xxxx's effect.

Occasionally, SCP-xxxx has been observed to transform into a gaseous form, along with its clothes and anything it was holding at the time. The gaseous form abides by the laws of physics, and when transforming back into a solid state, SCP-xxxx appears to "solidify" into a soft red mist. The mist will slowly reform into a human shape over the course of a few minutes. SCP-xxxx has described the process as "extremely painful" and says that she will only use the process if absolutely necessary. Said property of SCP-xxxx is not related to her "disappearance" property.

Discovery: SCP-xxxx was discovered after reports were made of a corpse thievery in the morgue of St. █████'s Hospital in London. SCP-xxxx reappeared soon after, roaming around the hospital, with vital signs active like that of a normal alive human. An undercover Foundation agent, posing as a nurse on duty that day, proceeded to subdue and apply amnestics to most of the hospital staff. After contacting the London branch of the Foundation, agents successfully contained SCP-xxxx and transported it to its current containment at Site-██. Event was covered up as a mistaken diagnosis. SCP-xxxx manifested properties as Foundation agents were close, destroying the hospital and [REDACTED] everyone inside.

Addendum: On ██/██/2020, SCP-xxxx attempted escape from containment. SCP-xxxx escaped into the vents. A minor containment breach was declared onsite. The vents were sealed, and fans were used to force SCP-xxxx back to its containment chamber. In spite of recent events, SCP-xxxx's containment protocols have become stricter.

Addendum 2: On ██/2█/2020, SCP-xxxx developed a mild headache. Dr. ████ interviewed SCP-xxxx.

After this event, SCP-xxxx's containment procedures have come under review. Incident ██-xxxx is to be read before the rest of the documentation. Since SCP-xxxx is now known to [DATA EXPUNGED] and heat up to nearly 3,000 °C, its threat level is to be raised, and only Level 3 personnel and above are now allowed to access SCP-xxxx's containment chamber.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is to be contained in a tantalum hafnium carbide containment chamber, enough to resist or delay any attempts at escaping containment due to the intense heat that SCP-xxxx seems to produce². Due to SCP-xxxx, many containment chambers have been destroyed. Extreme care is to be taken when going inside SCP-xxxx's containment chamber. Interviews are strictly restricted to the audio systems inside and outside the room.

SCP-xxxx poses a possible XK-class scenario. SCP-xxxx's mild memetic effect is to be treated with very strong amnestics to completely destroy the memetic threat it poses. Crowd control mechanics are to be implemented near Site-██.

Update: After Incident xxxx-21, also known colloquially as "Armageddon", SCP-xxxx's mild memetic effect has been shown to resist amnestics. Alternate approaches to containment are to be researched.

SCP-xxxx's containment is extremely costly and SCP-xxxx itself poses a risk to the Foundation and the masquerade the Foundation has created that maintains normalcy.. Due to this, SCP-xxxx is to be terminated as soon as possible. However, it is difficult to do so, as bullets and projectiles disintegrate and vaporize due to SCP-xxxx's anomalous effect.

Records range from downwards of -273.12 °C all the way up to 5,042.29 °C, enough to melt [REDACTED]% of the Foundation's containment units. For this reason, the containment cell has been specifically designed to optimize cooling systems to cool down as much of the cell as possible. xxxx-Gamma events usually last up to 30 seconds, although in rare cases, periods as much as 1 hour have been known to take place. During these events, however, SCP-xxxx's body temperature remains at a normal 36.9 °C average. Said temperature results in SCP-xxxx potentially glowing into the visible range, with a wavelength of 545.2 nanometres, and appearing a bright beige colour.

Addendum: On ██/██/2022, a video was uploaded to the video streaming site Youtube. Lasting only █ seconds, it spread rapidly across the site, and other social media websites, garnering 29 million views within 5 hours. Part of the rapid popularity was an anomalous effect where the video would randomly play on any Youtube video as an ad. The video appears to be just a black screen at first, but closer investigation reveals a very strong cognitohazard appearing in only 1 frame. The effects of the cognitohazard were fully realized after thousands of people began migrating to Site-██ and many other Foundation sites around the world, demanding the release of SCP-xxxx. SCP-xxxx itself also adopted a mild memetic effect with the same symptoms.

Large-scale amnestic distribution was performed around Foundation sites. However, the cognitohazard seemed not to be wiped out by the amnestics. A major containment breach was declared. In the midst of the chaos, ███ SCPs managed to escape containment. Within 48 days, nearly ███ million people were killed. The effects of the catastrophe, globally dubbed "Armageddon Day", were enough to warrant a use of SCP-2000. The event has been one of the most dangerous the Foundation has faced in nearly centuries of its existence. Because of this, change to a more appropriate class is currently pending. Report Log, 04/28/2036

On April 27th, 2036, the SRAs in SCP-xxxx's room ceased to function. In accordance with protocol, a Foundation researcher alerted a guard about the malfunction. A technical team was brought in to deal with the issue.

The technical team managed to fix most of the SRAs in SCP-xxxx's room, however, one of them accidentally wandered too close to SCP-xxxx. SCP-xxxx then proceeded to pull said technician in. The rest of the team pulled out their guns and began to fire at SCP-xxxx. The bullets disintegrated midair. The door to SCP-xxxx's containment suddenly locked shut, trapping the technicians inside.
