SCP-XXXX can be contained by preventing any observation of SCP-XXXX-1 and by extension, SCP-XXXX-2.
Every month, a team of foundation personnel incapable of visually observing SCP-XXXX-1 are to enter its containment cell and confirm that SCP-XXXX-1 is still inside the multi-layered safe it is currently contained and is still encased in concrete. SCP-XXXX is to be destroyed as soon as possible. SCP-XXXX-1 is to be readily available for experimentation.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is an unknown number that cannot be ascertained a number that cannot exist according to the known laws of mathematics that cannot be ascertained. It is only known that this number exists, but no expression of it has been found On [REDACTED], 2016, SCP-XXXX-1 was recovered. SCP-XXXX-1 is an ancient tablet seemingly made out of fossilised bone. Carbon dating of SCP-XXXX-1 reveals it to be over [REDACTED] million years old. On the face of SCP-XXXX-1, there is inscribed a modern formula nothing is inscribed. The tablet has anomolous effects, thus displaying a modern formula, designated SCP-XXXX-2. This formula is rather simple, but can only be recalled while SCP-XXXX-2 is in the line of sight of the viewer¹. SCP-XXXX-2 is presumably equal to SCP-XXXX. If SCP-XXXX-2 is solved by any means, the entity that solved it and any tools used to solve it will instantly dissapear be near-instantly absorbed into a singularity originating from the point where SCP-XXXX is stored. In the case of unassisted humans, this singularity will form in the frontal lobe and absorb the head and most of the torso. All matter that recorded SCP-XXXX will also be absorbed.
A similar effect will occur if SCP-XXXX-2 is recorded in any way for over 24 hours. This is not the extent of SCP-XXXX's destructive capabilities. If any equation involving SCP-XXXX-2 and standard numbers is solved, SCP-XXXX's normal effect will occur. However, equations with more than one instance of SCP-XXXX-2 will produce effects based on the amount of instances SCP-XXXX in the answer. For example, SCP-XXXX-2*2 produces a singularity that absorbs 2x as much matter as usual². This effect can be used to create the two only safe calculations involving SCP-XXXX: SCP-XXXX-2 - SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-2/SCP-XXXX-2. These both result in normal numbers and do not create singularities.
