Containment procedure: SCP-9984 is being held in a privately owned storage facility of the coast of ■■■■. The facility is to be constantly monitored to make sure no one goes in or out, and 9984 must always be kept on an empty tank of gas.

Description: SCP-9984 is a standard U.S Ford Pickup Truck. SCP-9984 was discovered outside of ■■■■■■, Florida, on interstate I-58. SCP-9984 is considered Safe on account of the Foundation having it in their possession at the current moment. SCP-9984 is being held in a privately owned storage facility of the coast of Peru. SCP-9984's anomalous trait is that anyone who drives it for more than 48 hours slowly looses all interest in anything but driving. Factors such as depression, insomnia, and anger are not uncommon in these symptoms. After around 4 days of riding SCP-9986, the drivers mental state will slowly deteriorate, leading to reckless driving and a difficulty with most things considering an automobile. After around 1 week, SCP-9984 creates an instance of 9986-A, where the driver fully looses almost every memory he has and once they go in any car, they have a strong urge to run over or cause traffic collisions. As a side note, any 9984-A that enters a vehicle that is not 9984, will result in this vehicle becoming an instance of 9984-B. 9984-B is similar to 9984 in its anomalous properties, but it stops showing these properties if its not driven for a week. As this is a recently acquired SCP, foundation personnel have yet to run any tests.
