Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in the anti-statistical containment unit near site-XX. The minimum of four level 2 or higher researchers trained in the maintenance and the management of anti-statistical systems are to be located at the containment unit to keep the system fully operational.

The personnel at the unit will be required to send updates to the inter-dimensional anti-info-corruption intelligence system every 2 hours. If there is no update for more than an hour, site-XX will be alerted, and the unit will be on the threat state. Level 3 or higher researchers at the containment unit or site-XX will have excess to the code to disable the threat state. If the threat state is still active after 2 hours, 4 sites near the site-XX will be alerted of the situation and will be required to send an investigative team to evaluate the state of the containment of SCP-XXXX.

Should SCP-XXXX escape or the containment unit fails, the following procedures will start.

The failed containment of SCP-XXXX will be assigned with priority beta for the Apollon anti-info-corruption telescope. The said telescope will be used to locate the SCP-XXXX. If this step fails, the global oversight system will be deployed, which will update the anti-info-corruption intelligence system to assist the telescope.

If the Apollon anti-info-corruption telescope locates SCP-XXXX, a retrieval team will be sent to collect SCP-XXXX with the Foundation cargo plane. The said Foundation cargo plane will carry a mobile temporal anti-statistical containment cage to hold SCP-XXXX transitorily. When the SCP-XXXX is located by the retrieval team, they are to shoot either the leg or the arm of SCP-XXXX to disable it temporarily. While it is in the repair state, the agents will move it to the temporary cage and send it back to the anti-statistical containment unit.

Only researchers with clearance level 3 or higher can submit test proposals regarding SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a semi-humanoid robot. It is 1.6 m tall, 0.7 m wide, and 0.4 m thick. Armor made of steel alloy covers the majority of the surface areas of SCP-XXXX, though it is not complete, and some of the internal parts are visible.

SCP-XXXX has four long arms that are capable of delicate handlings of objects, cutting, drilling, and punching. SCP-XXXX's two legs are short and sturdy and are capable of walking like a human. The body seems to contain the "motherboard" of the SCP-XXXX. The motherboard has a drastically different architecture from those of modern computers. The materials making the motherboard are mostly unknown, but current research suggests they include copper, gold, and ancient plastic. The head seems to contain various sensors capable of detecting electromagnetic waves, light, sounds, pressure, and acceleration.

SCP-XXXX's punch can generate up to 120 kJ of energy. Its saw and drill are capable of destroying most of the Foundation's standard alloy, but because of SCP-XXXX's size, no serious damages can be made.

SCP-XXXX is not appeared to be sentient, although it is capable of basic problem solving, suggesting an elementary A.I. chip is installed. Due to this, SCP-XXXX is not capable of complex thinking, acting as its weakness.

SCP-XXXX's energy source is concluded to be a sort of ancient battery after tests regarding atmosphere and radiation around SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX has an anomalous ability to change its narrative state. The narrative state refers to the situation of an object at the time (Ex: a man is in a building). SCP-XXXX can use this ability to perform teleportation, repair or charge itself, be unnoticed by observers, or delete information left by itself.

To change its narrative state, SCP-XXXX seems to require to know its current state and the resulting state. Anti-statistical measures need to be placed to make it near impossible for the SCP-XXXX to identify its current state.

If anti-statistical measures are unavailable, partial destruction of SCP-XXXX is authorized. SCP-XXXX seems to prioritize repairing itself over an escape. However, a prolonged attack makes SCP-XXXX enter a sort of combat mode. SCP-XXXX prefers location shifting for the escape method over more destructive methods. Since the containment of SCP-XXXX in combat mode is significantly harder than the containment of SCP-XXXX trying to escape using the location shift, it is recommended to use anti-statistical methods to contain SCP-XXXX.

Analysis of broken parts of SCP-XXXX revealed that it is XXXX years old. The original creator or creators of SCP-XXXX is unknown. The purpose of SCP-XXXX is unclear, but it is theorized that SCP-XXXX is made to detect the unknown threat.

SCP-XXXX used to collect information from structures or objects with high metal concentration before its confinement. The reason for this activity is unknown.

SCP-XXXX is generally harmless to most populations, but it becomes hostile to certain individuals. The individuals attacked by SCP-XXXX is designated as SCP-XXXX-1. Studies on SCP-XXXX-1 are ongoing, but no significant discoveries were found.

Because Foundation was able to capture the SCP-XXXX and its armor is incomplete, it is hypothesized that SCP-XXXX is unfinished or a prototype. Through gaps of the armor of SCP-XXXX, a space of 15 cm by 12 cm by 16 cm was found at the center. It is assumed that a more sophisticated A.I. system was meant to be installed, but failed to be for reasons unclear.

Addendum: Anti-statistical measures refer to any measures that obstruct regular gathering of data. It can be achieved by both non-anomalous and anomalous means, but it is recommended to use non-anomalous means whenever possible. The current containment unit of SCP-XXXX uses a toroidal chamber with a radius of 0.8 km to create random centripetal acceleration. Random electromagnetic waves, sounds, and visible light rays are also produced in the chamber to further confuse SCP-XXXX.

An anti-info-corruption intelligence system refers to data storage and processing units that utilize inter-dimensional communications to counter info-corruptions in a dimension. The current system managed to reduce errors caused by info-corruption during the containment of SCP-XXXX from 2.1 % to 0.0012 %.

Apollo anti-info-corruption telescope refers to a telescope launched in XX/XX/XXXX for observations of anomalies. Its lense and panels are located between Earth and the sun. Its body is located in a separate temporary dimension. The dimension reaches high hume levels during usage using energy from the sun. It can observe anomalies that are usually impossible to locate, although not all anomalies can be found using the telescope.
