Item #:SCP-[unclassified yet]
Object class: safe
Standard Containment Procedures: the dice must be kept in their own box, in a standard locked storage room. It is forbidden for any personnel to use the dice, any unauthorized personnel who will be caught playing with them will become SCP- [unclassified yet]-1, and will have to be contained with a straitjacket inside a lined room due to the psychological affects deriving from it. No pictures are allowed for now.
Description: SCP-[unclassified yet] is a subject still in observation.
It appears like two normal game dice within a box that it seems, somehow, to contains them (read section C for extra info). According to recent analysis, these dice have an internal fourth-dimensional structure.
Pictures of the dice can instigate a ludopathy-like complex in the observator. The longer the observer look at them, the more intense this effect will be.
If, for any reason, they are rolled by a force other than a human being, the dice will remain blank.
If a human throws the dice, and they land on the floor, or poised, or on any othes not-flat surfaces it will appear a message on the dice :[INPUT NOT VALID], this message has been translated, the original message is written in an unknown language (read section B).
If the dice land on a flat table, a number from 0 to 7 will appear on the top face.
If rolls a double 0, the subject that rolled the dices will expirience a crazy mental state for unknown reason, and will eventually die for suicide.
If it rolls two number that are a sum equal to 7 or if it rolls a double 7, the subject will have an anomalous luck for the next seven days.
If the number is neither of those no actual implication will come out, but the subject that throwed the dice, will suffer an extreme anxiety and depression until he will be able throw the dice once more. Apparently, is possible that other anomalous numbers could appear if the dice are rolled more than 7 times by the same person.
Recent experiments may suggest the use of SCP[unclassified yet] to counter the effects of SCP-Y, due to the nature of SCP[unclassified yet] to be able of creating new numbers, but this ability must be studied more due to the possibility of SCP[unclassified yet] to be some sort of matrix-containment device that only contains all numbers, not actually creating new ones.
The double 0 resoult, is still under studyng. It is not clear if it can cause death by pure accidental meaning or by directly affecting the events that causes the death of SCP[unclassified yet]-1.
Recent theories may suggest that the dice can manipulate the, so called, "luck factor", a sort of intrinsecal property of conscent beings, or any beings that can actually experiece it.
Non-humans beings, such others sentient SCP's, usually refuse to use the dice, or if they does roll them, a random number will appear on all the four-dimentional faces. No other effects has been observed.
The dice can affect anyone, even if the result are not known.
Section B
The symbols that are written on the dice, does not appear anywhere in any language known.
The dice were submitted to a Special-Linguistic-Force for the translation.
All the studies has shown that those symbols are written in a fourth-dimentional space.
Only one of all the fonts on the dice has been succsesfully translated, in what the SLF belive to be some sort of meaning to indicate an error, like an invalid input.
The random numbers that appears on the dice are not displayed in a conventional number sistem nor a known one, but matematicians and the SLF that worked on the translating, can interpretate the number with a new prospective technique.
Still withouth the help of dr. [redacted], chief of the SLF and the group of matematicians, is not possible for anyone to know the outcome of a roll. Only the effects can suggest the possible outcome.
Section C- extra description
The dice seems to be transparent like glass, it is possible to look through them.
The dice can even assume different colours, but no explanation or practical function has been found.
The box in which they are contained is small and present a monocramatic blue coloration. It is locked with an easy puzzle. The box does not present any sort of anomaly, but it is used conventionally to contain the dice.
