Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a sound-proofed standard humanoid containment cell. No visual cameras are allowed within SCP-XXXX's cell. Instead, the entity is to be monitored via microphone and motion sensors. Personnel that enter SCP-XXXX's containment chamber must avoid making visual or physical contact with the entity, and must not remain within the containment chamber for more than 10 minutes. Should staff require to be near SCP-XXXX for longer than 10 minutes, staff should use proper safety equipment to prevent hearing. Should personnel show symptoms of exposure to SCP-XXXX's effects, they are to be kept in an unlit sealed room for a time equal to time of exposure. All staff are to undergo psychological testing on a monthly basis.

SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a standard containment locker at Site-15. SCP-XXXX is not to be plugged into any electrical outlets outside of approved testing. See Incident Report SCP-XXXX-1

Description:

SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity visually resembling television static. The entity is 2m in height and has an average build for a male of it's size. Entity requires half the amount of food and rest typical of a person of its size. SCP-XXXX is not hostile, but is often uncooperative with staff that attempt to interact with it. When staff enter SCP-XXXX's cell, the entity will move towards them, but will not come within 1m, unless approached directly. SCP-XXXX will spend most of its day beating the walls of its cell while screaming.

The first of SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects occurs when the entity is observed by any human, whether directly or indirectly, such as through video or photography. Upon initial observation, subjects report SCP-XXXX has either average or no defining features. However, when observed for long periods, subjects will begin to identify specific features, such as shape and position of facial features, style of clothing, presence of scars or tattoos, etc. SCP-XXXX to all other observers will appear to shift to match with given descriptions. This appears to cause a large amount of pain to the entity, as it will often scream louder the longer it is observed. SCP-XXXX will revert back to it's usual form within 20 minutes of not being observed.

The second of SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects occurs when any human directly listens to SCP-XXXX's vocalizations for longer than 10 minutes. Subjects begin to express an intense feeling of , with this feeling growing stronger the longer one listens to SCP-XXXX. After 2 hours of exposure, subjects appear to fade from existence.
