Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the docile and occasionally friendly nature of the anomaly, SCP-XXXX's only limitation is the confines of the facility it is housed in. During a containment breach, SCP-XXX is to be contained in a safe room of the staff's choice when the opportunity arises
Description: SCP-XXXX is a seemingly semi-sentient wheeled chair. It will autonomously roll around and occasionally follow requests to carry staff members to a place of choice. It requires no apparent knowledge of the layout of the location to know what path to take. When being requested to carry someone, SCP-XXXX can understand verbal requests, however does not require the passenger to speak, seemingly telepathically hearing the passenger's thoughts and rolling to the requested location. The passenger must be seated for the object to understand their thoughts.
However, SCP-XXXX does not always follow requests. No pattern has been found for refusal, but it has been noted that in refusal of a request it will (note: It will only execute one of these actions when refusing):
- 1- Rotate at a constantly incresing speed untill the passenger has stood up.
- 2- Physically lean foward and stand the passanger up, then returning to its normal position. It will do this once and if the passenger remains seated or seats back down and is once again denied their request, the object will execute another method.
- 3- Continuously roll backwards into a wall.
- 4- Through various means, make the passenger fall off.
SCP-XXXX has, however, been observed to move autonomously with no apparent destination. It will occasionally collide with people, who reportedly "feel the chair apologizing" in their minds. It has also been observed to approach staff members at random, as if offering transport somewhere. In these situations, it has never denied a request.
The docile nature of the anomaly has led many to request SCP-XXXX to remain unrestrained within the facility and the staff allowed to make use of his transportation when needed. This request has been approved. SCP-XXXX is now housed in Site-██.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered when Dr. █████████ attempted to sit down on a chair and it followed Method 2 of refusing a request for transport. After many more attempts at sitting down on SCP-XXXX, the object reportedly rolled off
