Special Containment Procedures: scp - 5311 is to be fenced off and guarded by a group of armed personnel at all times, any who find the location are to have their memories wiped of all recollection of the passageway.
Description: scp - 5311 is a large, cave-esque passageway located within a mountain in ████, Maine. Upon entering, many subjects report that the passages of the cave do not end, and infinity sprawl in every direction. Even when specially skilled MTF groups were brought onto the scene to investigate, there still seemed to be no end to the cave system. Exploring the cave is only made more difficult by anomalous communications interference that begins upon going approximately 4150 ft (1264.92 m) into the cave. The reasoning for the interference is unknown.
Scp - 5311 was originally found when a group of hikers from ████ stumbled upon the pass and mysteriously disappeared, and when investigated by local police, they went missing as well. The Foundation was made aware of the disappearance cases after some time and arrived to find out that those who entered would find themselves in anomalous situations. The foundation would soon inform local police that it was under “Governmental control", and made sure to close the case.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5311 is to be kept within research Site 82, and is not to be opened unless under extreme circumstances
Description: SCP-5311-1 is a small foundation recording device that appeared just outside of the cave 3 weeks after the foundation began testing. The recordings are seemingly from inside of the wayward pass, and are from the prospective of a middle aged sounding male who calls himself Darrel G. There is no record of the device being distributed to the area within the last 20 years of finding, and it contains roughly 70000 hours of recording on it, however many of the hours have been corrupted, and contain no audio aside from occasional small spikes of buzzing, which seem to have no meaning. Along with that, the only record of a Darrel G from within the foundation is that of a test on a D-Class within research Site-82 in 1997, wherein the subject was instantly vaporized from all realities, with no trace being able to be found of him at the time. When Site-82 was remodeled in 2017 after the discovery of the pass, it was reported that he could be found in 1 reality for about 2 and a half minutes, then disappeared completely. This was reported roughly 2 weeks before the appearance of SCP-5311-1. The following are transcribed from the audio recovered from the device.
