Item #: SCP-xxxx
Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: Scp-xxxx is to be kept in a standard object containment cell at Site-██. During testing, or once a month or before testing, a Class 2 researcher or above is to manually clean dust Scp-xxxx to avoid damage to the lense.

Description: Scp-xxxx is a standard projector used for common household or teaching purposes. It is a model [Redacted] manufactured by █████. It contains no serial number and is estimated to have been manufactured around ██-██-19██, based on design and the limited functionality. Scp-xxxx has any number of ports on the back of it that can number from zero, to some cases when it has had [Redacted]. Scp-xxxx has the ability to change what type of ports it has on it prior to a researcher entering a vicinity of 3 meters of it, and it not looking at the back of SCP-xxxx. Ports it has have ranged from floppy discs to ports that have come out since after the foundation took custody of it, and even standard foundation issued usbs. It is currently unknown how scp-xxxx knows how to change its ports.

To active scp-xxxx, or turn it on it is to be plugged into a standard grounded outlet with an output of 1800 to 2400 watts. When turned on, scp-xxxx displays an error message, prompting the user to insert a video. Once the user inserts a device containing a video or videos, scp-xxxx will automatically begin to play them in chronological order. It is unknown how scp-xxxx determines what order to play the videos in, but it has a ██.██% success rate in choosing correctly. From testing, it appears that scp-xxxx prefers movies over other types of videos, romance dramas over other types of genres of films, and live-action over animated films.

Scp-xxxx contains the ability to change whatever surface it is projected onto a hole in the wall if the inserted device is a more physical device, such as a cd or floppy disk and the current movie playing is live-action. When a "more physical device" is inserted, scp-xxxx-1 appears where the movie would normally play, but as a 3d model of sorts, that you are able to interact with by any means, such as talking to the actors, moving objects around, and even going inside of scp-xxxx-1. Items can be added and removed from scp-xxxx-1 as long as scp-xxxx is turned on. If scp-xxxx turns off by any means while it is playing a film, it will automatically start playing all films from the start in chronological order from the beginning once it is turned on again, with the only difference being that objects previously added to scp-xxxx-1 without being removed can be seen as props. This includes but is not limited to, D-Class personnel and household objects. Scp-xxxx has gone as far as changing the entire plot of the movies, but only on the device inserted. This effect does not carry to other devices that have previously interacted with scp-xxxx-1 or object that interact with it after, even if it is the same film and the same objects are introduced, scp-xxxx can make different plot changes to incorporate the new objects.
