Special Containment Procedures: Due to it's nature SCP-5998 is to be contained in a 50 X 50 meter air-tight steel enclosure connected to electricity and patrolled by security personnel 24 hours a day. Any individuals attempting access are to be terminated immediately. SCP-5998 is observed to not have to breathe, eat, or drink thus, it is provided with nothing.
SCP-5998 is a humanoid entity that was previously known by the name of [REDACTED]. When left in a space that cannot trap water vapor or is not protected by electricity, it will demanifest into a toxic, fine mist that is almost completely invisible. Upon further research the entity has no matching DNA records and no legal records. Only Class-D personnel are permitted for testing by 2 persomell of at least level 4 clearance and above personel are allowed to enter with biohzard suits. It's humanoid form is desegnated SCP-5998-A. it's "mist" state is desegnated SCP-5998-B. SCP-5998-A will attempt to kill all personnel through SCP-5998-B. It is apparently capable of speech as SCP-5998-B via anomalous means.
