Description: SCP-XXXX is a 0.53m x 0.53m canvas oil painting of an Autumn scene. The painting consists of a small island with trees colored red, orange, and yellow. There are two rivers on either side of the island, on the other side of the rivers are more trees with the same coloring. At first glance the painting seems a normal fall portrait, until it begins to change.

After approximately 5 seconds of looking at the painting something will change, many different D-Class Personnel (hereafter referred to as subject) have exhibited many different symptoms. The symptoms have nothing in common except for that something appears to change in the painting. All subjects so far have seen different things in the painting, but they all seem to play on the subjects' worst fears.

Subjects have been reported showing symptoms similar to schizophrenia, including aggression, compulsive behavior, lack of restraint, hallucinations, paranoia, disorientation, and indiscriminate screaming and yelling. After approximately 3 minutes of going through these symptoms, subjects have attempted [DATA EXPUNGED], they have even gone as far as to [DATA EXPUNGED] and [DATA EXPUNGED]. This behavior has resulted in the death of all subjects used for this SCP, for this reason agents are not allowed in SCP-XXXX's containment cell, only D-Class Personnel are allowed for testing with SCP-XXXX.

Before [DATA EXPUNGED] subjects have shown signs of seeing the change in the painting moving towards the perspective and walking out of the painting. Subjects have ran away from the painting and [DATA EXPUNGED] from whatever has come out of the painting. Cameras have revealed nothing has ever changed in the painting implying that these changes are strictly psychological and hallucinatory.

SCP-XXXX peaked the foundation's interest after a [DATA EXPUNGED] occurred at ████████ art exhibit in ████████, ██. Everyone inside the exhibit was dead when the foundation arrived and most police officers had [DATA EXPUNGED]. It is unknown as to who had placed SCP-XXXX in the exhibit in the first place as there is no evidence pertaining to its arrival or its carrier. After this event SCP-XXXX was taken into foundation custody and was contained accordingly.
