Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX can be kept in a standard plastic sealable bag, then stored in a 10cm x 10cm x 5cm refrigerated compartment at 4°C. The compartment must be protected by a passcode and only be accessed by level 4 personell or above.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a parasitic fungi resembling that of two wafers sandwiching a crème filling. SCP-XXXX's appearance fools subjects into thinking that it is a consumable cookie wafer. SCP-XXXX has a "possession" trait that makes a subject consume the item. Subjects that are reluctant to consume SCP-XXXX succumb to the entity's "possession" trait. They end up suffering to what appears to be a "desensitization" effect, and proceed to consume the item quicker than those of other subjects that are willing to consume SCP-XXXX (See test logs for details). Subjects that consume SCP-XXXX will die and grow mycelium which will make more SCP-XXXX instances. Instances are to be sealed in plastic bags and stored in a refrigerated area with security level 4 or higher, per containment procedures. Instances need no further identification other than XXXX, as XXXX instances are the same each time new instances are created.

Body disposed of by incineration and testing area cleaned. End of test.

Results: SCP-XXXX deemed as a fungal parasite from the presence of mycelium. XXXX assumed to have abilities to affect subject to consume it.
