A dormant instance of SCP-XXXX
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Mobile Task Force Digamma-7 ("Riders on the Storm") is tasked with removing instances of SCP-XXXX from affected areas. D-Class personnel are supplied with a vehicle and are tasked with baiting SCP-XXXX for capture and relocation. Foundation agents are tasked with the inspection of all rural roads in the midwestern United States for instances of SCP-XXXX. Any detection of SCP-XXXX instances in previously uninhabited areas are to be reported to MTF Digamma-7.
As of 08/09/07, at least ██ roads have been reported to be infested with SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a nocturnal species of arachnid predators, inhabiting rural roads of the Midwestern USA. These creatures live burrowed underground near the roads, and create a camouflaging disguise resembling a typical road sign.
Dormant at day, SCP-XXXX awakens at night, and stalks its prey, which consists of unsuspecting drivers and their vehicles. SCP-XXXX will stalk the vehicle until its movement is noticed by the driver, at which it will lunge at the vehicle, and start to attack it and the driver. It will continue until SCP-XXXX kills the driver and the vehicle crashes to a halt.
Once the driver and vehicle have been consumed, the vehicle escapes capture, or SCP-XXXX does not reach the vehicle quick enough, SCP-XXXX will bury itself into a new hole in a different location, usually near where the crash occurred. Sometimes, instances of SCP-XXXX will change their camouflage to fit their new location.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX was first brought to the attention of the Foundation after an influx of reports regarding the mysterious movement and/or relocation of traffic signs, along with "hissing noises from behind". Foundation agents responded to the situation upon receiving information regarding a missing persons incident taking place on a rural road. Foundation forensicists and agents were dispatched on the scene. Discovering a wrecked car off the main road, DNA analysis revealed DNA similar to that of members of the Latrodectus genus of spiders. Initially filed as an Extranormal Event, SCP status was granted upon a subsequent report of two teenagers being chased by a "monster spider" while attempting to steal one of the street signs. This report was accomponied with a "RECREATION OF ACCOUNT", depicting a giant spider-like creature with a road sign attached to it's back. All involved people were amnesticated, and the report was consficated by Foundation agents.

Close up of SCP-XXXX, taken in a room with a light level of 90 ftcd
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be covered in three layers of black, solid cloth, and stored in a safe. Researchers are to make sure the light levels of SCP-XXXX's containment cell do not match or exceed 10,752 lux. SCP-XXXX is only allowed to be exposed to such light levels in secluded areas for testing purposes. Any testing involving SCP-XXXX must take place during the night, so as to prevent spread of SCP-XXXX's effect outside testing. Only a few instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be contained for study; the rest are to be terminated through gas attacks.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a metallic rock weighing about 1 kg. SCP-XXXX is composed of a currently unknown metallic substance visually reminiscent to Silicon.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous effect manifests whenever put in a location with a light level equal to or greater than 1,0752 lux. Any eukaryotic organism that enters within a 5 meter radius of SCP-XXXX will undergo a biological reversion, wherein cells caught in the radius will have their organelles devolve into prokaryotic organisms. Converted organelles are currently designated as instances of SCP-XXXX-1.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 show aggressive behavior towards eukaryotic organisms. Known instances have been shown to attack eukaryotic cells in sheer numbers. SCP-XXXX-1 instances break down the cells of eukaryotic organisms, causing necrosis in the cells. Although SCP-XXXX-1 instances primarily attack unicellular eukaryotes, there have been known cases of assaults on multicelluar organisms.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class:
Special Containment Procedures: A 3 foot fortified wall has been built around SCP-XXXX and guarded by Foundation agents.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an 1 dkm x 1 dkm x 1 cm interdimensional wormhole located in Western Australia, located approx 1 kilometer away from the Woodleigh crater. Any entity that enters the wormhole will enter into an alternate reality, out through that reality's version of SCP-XXXX.
Testing has confirmed that that this portal exists in the same location throughout all Australia-bearing realities.
Alternate Universe Exploration Log #1:
Alternate Universe Designation: Sigma-Digamma-16-A
Universe Description: An alternate reality wherein Australia has acheived world domination through use of anomalous artifacts located within the country. The SCP Foundation of this universe, the Australian Anomaly Agency (AAA, or A3),
Alternate Universe Designation: Digamma-Tsan-θ'-T
Universe Description: An alternate reality wherein all celestial bodies in the Solar System, including the Sun, had been anomalously terraformed through unknown means. Based on records, this event happened on [CENSORED]/[CENSORED]/2023. Life on Earth has either died or moved permanently underground, now relying off of the planet's core in place of the Sun.
Alternate Universe Designation: Tsan-Gamma-5-E
Universe Description: An alternate reality wherein the commonly accepted proto-Earth theory (A Mars-like planet named Theia crashed into the proto-Earth, creating both the modern Earth and Moon) does not happen. Instead, Earth is spatially relocated due to it's anomalous atomic makeup, and crashes into Theia. This Earth and it's atoms are classified SCP-096-DE and SCP-096-DE-1, respectively. Any outside matter that touches SCP-096-DE-1, unless in contact with non-anomalous atoms, will have their atomic makeup converted to that of SCP-096-DE-1.
Note: Due to this conversion, Subject D-24905 was asked to remain on Tsan-Gamma-5-E.
Item #: SCP-4XXX
Object Class:
Special Containment Procedures: Two copies of SCP-4XXX are currently stored on a Site-15 flash drive. Testing must be done using copies of the SCP-4XXX file, and said copies are to be deleted upon conclusion of testing.
Description: SCP-4XXX is an electronic video file under the .wmv format, with a file size of 2.2 MB.
SCP-4XXX was originally discovered by Foundation webcrawlers on the video sharing site YouTube in the description of a video titled "click below to watch the best video ever!!!!". SCP-4XXX was found in a direct download link contained within the description of the video.
During the initial discovery, SCP-4XXX went under the file name of "the_best_video_ever.wmv", and consisted of a blue title card reading "this is the best video ever!!!!" in white text for a total of two minutes.
The anomalous effects of SCP-4XXX were discovered when a Foundation researcher jokingly renamed the file to "the_worst_video_ever.wmv". Upon reopening the file, the video was altered, now having a red title card and reading "this is the worst video ever!!!!".
Item #: SCP-4246
Object Class:
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4246 is contained at Hedge Garden #2 of Site-19's garden area. SCP-4246 is to not be approached by personnel within a two meter distance.
In the event of an attack, personnel are to follow Class 3 hazardous object containment procedures.
All personnel are reminded to maintain the necessary precautions when cleaning the garden area.
Description: SCP-4246 is a statue of Greek origin, constructed from marble, limestone, and a currently unidentified rock type. The right side of SCP-4246’s face appears to have been broken off. Studies reveal the presence of an archaic language of unidentified origin engraved in various sections of the statue. SCP-4246's rate of corrosion is inconsistent with that of natural deposits of limestone.
When a human subject makes contact with or speaks audibly in front of SCP-4246, the statue will become animate and attack the subject with the use of its appendages. This effect does not appear to activate in the presence of non-human subjects.
From midnight to dawn, sounds of a woman moaning emit frequently from SCP-4246's containment area; this is considered normal. Personnel are to ignore any changes in this behaviour and report to the acting HMCL supervisor immediately.
