Ziakial's Proposal

Item #: SCP-001

Object Class: Deemed inapplicable by The Administrator

Special Containment Procedures: Due to its location, the main entrance into and out of SCP-001 is currently located inside of Site-19. A room has been built around this entrance, concealed from unauthorized personnel, and guarded heavily.

This room is not considered as part of Site-19, but is instead considered part of a separate site, colloquially titled “Sector XB”. To prevent an informational breach, however, unauthorized personnel are to be told that this room is indeed part of Site-19, and all site maps intended for lower level access is to list it as such.

Any and all information and discussion regarding SCP-001 is to take place in, and must be kept in, Sector XB. Because of this, all personnel leaving Sector XB are to be amnesticated, to prevent accidental spread of classified information.

All instances of SCP-001-A are to be digitally replicated onto a dedicated DEEPWELL server for later use and reference. This server shall only be accessible to SCP-001 personnel.

Any unauthorized personnel attempting to breach into SCP-001 are to be either amnesticated or terminated, depending on the severity of the breach.

As a contingency order in the case of unauthorized personnel accidentally or intentionally accessing the SCP-001 file through the SCiPNET Database, Protocol 001-Alpha has been devised to prevent an informational breach. Current protocol procedures involve renumbering various SCP artifacts, both factual and fictitious, to SCP-001, and placed alongside the actual SCP-001 file in a “hub”. These files, called “proposals”, are guarded by use of a Berryman-Langford memetic kill agent.

For a file to be chosen for “Proposal Duty”, it must fall into at least one of the following descriptions:

  • Anomaly is involved in the beginning of the modern Foundation.
  • Anomaly is potentially responsible for other anomalies currently in containment.
  • Anomaly is deemed very important or of highest interest by the Foundation.
  • Anomaly is greatly powerful and/or dangerous, and has the potential to cause a catastrophic K-Class scenario.

Access to SCP-001 is limited to a “whitelist” devised by The Administrator. Due to the classified nature of SCP-001, the contents of this “whitelist” is only limited to The Administrator himself and all personnel on the list, though only The Administrator can make changes.

As of this time, there are currently no plans of converting the space occupied by SCP-001 into additional room for Site-19, and all requests to do so have been vehemently denied.

Description: SCP-001 is a structure located ███ feet underneath Site-19 that manifested around July 2008. No records of SCP-001 existing prior to this date have yet to be found.

Excavations of SCP-001 following its initial manifestation has revealed the structure to be strikingly similar to Site-19 itself, barring a few differences. Notably, certain rooms are either absent or have changed their placement and/or purpose. SCP-001 also appears to be in a state of disrepair, with power outages and debris present throughout. This is likely a result of its manifestation underground.

SCP-001 houses instances of SCP-001-A. SCP-001-A instances appear to be documentation supposedly pertaining to the Foundation. The documentation appears to refer to the Foundation as the “Site-19 Project”, and uses a silhouette figure reminiscent to that of SCP-529 as its logo, instead of a traditional “F2 Dial”.1

SCP-001-A appear to document anomalies either unknown to the Foundation, or details alternate versions of anomalies currently known to the Foundation.

It has been determined that SCP-001 originated from an alternate version of the Foundation. It is not yet determined why SCP-001 appeared in our reality, although it’s current location can be placed on a result of spatial displacement.

It is known that SCP-001 manifested between July 19th, 2008 and July 25th, 2008.

Addendum: Talks with the Multiversal Foundation Alliance revealed that SCP-001 had also manifested underneath each respective Foundation's Site-19, in an exact same physical state as this universe's SCP-001.
