SCP-6329.

Item #: SCP-6329

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6329 has to be inside a closed area with fences carrying the signs "No Trespassing" on each corner. The fenced area must be guarded by 2 personnel in shifts. Entrance and access to SCP-6329 is only allowed with permission from Level 2 Clearance or above.

Description: SCP-6329 is a rusty oldschool metal sink. It resides on a hollow block of ceramic. The rear portion of SCP-6329 seems to be absent of any ceramic layer, and has a plastic tube sticking through. This tube is thought to be what transfers the liquid into the tap's opening. SCP-6329 does not appear to have a pump inside but works normally regardless.

SCP-6329 was first discovered in an abandoned cottage in Northern Britain. Reports of a weird substance tainting the town's water supply was what brought The Foundation to investigate.

When the tubing of SCP-6329 is lowered into a liquid, said liquid will pour out of the tap. However, the liquid will have some of its properties altered. Such as; density, reactivity, melting/freezing/boiling temperatures, conductivity, pH and etc. The chemical structure of said liquid never displays any change. How this is possible by chemical means is yet to be understood.

Addendum: Below are several tests conducted with various liquids put through SCP-6329. The results are as follows,

Test: 6329_1
Components: Water (H²O), SCP-6329

Result: A colorless liquid begins to flow from the tap. This liquid seems to have approximately 2,4x the density of purified water. Its boiling point was measured to be around 346⁰C. The pH of this liquid seems to be between 8-9, slightly higher than the initial water sample.

Test: 6329_2
Components: 87% Concentrated Nitric Acid solution (HNO³), SCP-6329

Result: A yellow fuming liquid begins to flow from the tap. Outward appearance is almost identical to the initial sample. This liquid seems to be way less corrosive and less dense. pH has increased to 2,2. This liquid is proven to be a much weaker oxidizer.

Test: 6329_3
Components: Chromyl Chloride (CrO²Cl²), SCP-6329

Result: [DATA EXPUNGED]

Test: 6329_4
Components: Liquid Nitrogen (N²), SCP-6329

Result: A clear liquid begins to flow from the tap. This liquid didn't seem to evaporate into nitrogen gas as rapidly as typical liquid nitrogen. Tests conclude its freezing point to be -59⁰C, way higher than the initial sample.
