Seeking Greenlights: Yes.

Page Type: SCP Article.

Genre (Optional): Thriller, Mystery.

Elevator Pitch: Essentially, the SCP I have in mind boiled down to the bare minimum, is a statue that when asked a question, it will inherit the consciousness of someone, somewhere in the world, who is able to correctly answer the question.

Central Narrative: 1993, in a small-town in Mid-Wales named Llandrindod Wells - a statue appeared outside of the local church. The statue was that of a skeleton that had some muscle tissue remaining on various parts of it's body - the statue stood upon a block, which had no markings, or writings upon it. For four years the statue displayed no anomalous activity what-so-ever, yet no one was able to distinguish where the statue had come from, or what it's origins were.

One evening, someone decided to drunkenly stumble upon the statue and begin conversing with it, obviously as it was a statue - there was no reply. However, upon asking the statue a question - what the question was is currently unknown, the statue seemed to act, or emit the voice of another person that answered the question of the drunkard.

Within hours, the SCP Foundation was alerted to the statue's existence and transported it to Site ██.

Hook/Attention-Grabber: The SCP Foundation have postponed further interviews temporarily due to the anomalous properties of the statue's ability to answer any question, as long as somebody in the world possesses the answer. Whereas the Object-Class of the SCP has been declared safe, un-authorised interviews with the SCP are potentially very dangerous for the sake of the Foundation.

Additional Notes: Naturally there are complications due to the nature of the SCP, one of which is what if nobody has the answer to said question; these will be elaborated upon and explained in the full draft/sandbox of the SCP I have in mind.
