Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be kept open in a 5x5x5-inch case with an easy way to access it. Any attempts to put SCP-XXXX on any easily accessible door is prohibited unless a level-4 personnel says otherwise. All doors tested with SCP-XXXX should be able to be removed and replaced within a one-month period of the removal. When SCP-XXXX is attached to a door, the door handle or lock must be removed and melted.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a standard bronze Master lock™️ 175 with no visual difference to any other Master lock of the same type. When SCP-XXXX comes in contact with a door, it would seemingly attach itself to the door and the lock will close itself. If there is no place for SCP-XXXX to attach itself to, SCP-XXXX will attach itself to the door handle. If the lock or door handle gets removed from SCP-XXXX, whether it's through melting the door or destroying the door, SCP-XXXX will become detached from the door. When SCP-XXXX attaches itself to a door, the door could no longer be opened, and any attempts to get past the door will result in the person losing memory and will no longer want to go past the door. Any windows that show the other side of the door that SCP-XXXX is attached to, the windows will become very opaque and unbreakable. Any attempt to break the windows will result in memory loss and the person will forget about breaking the window. Any attempt to remove SCP-XXXX from its attached door by force results in failure. Any attempts to break the lock result in temporary short-term memory loss for a week.
Addendum XXXX-1:
SCP-005 was used to try to open SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX was unlocked.
Addendum XXXX-2:
SCP-XXXX was cloned with SCP-038 and put through SCP-914 on the "Fine" setting. The lock became a smooth iron instead of bronze. The effects of the SCP did not change.

Incident 1A:
SCP-XXXX was attached to Dr. Landry's office door by Dr.████. Dr. Landry's door was removed and was replaced in 1 and a half months.
Incident 2A:
SCP-XXXX was attached to SCP-008's containment. The containment was closed, but SCP-008 needed to be tested on. The lock was opened and SCP-008 broke containment within its own containment room only. █ casualties.
Incident 3A:
The cloned instance of SCP-XXXX was destroyed when trying to lock SCP-2317.
Incident 4A:
Class-D #████ terminated for locking themselves in their cell.
Incident 5A:
SCP-008 has breached containment. SCP-XXXX was used to conceal its containment room after it was contained again.
