Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX Is to be contained in a 10 x 10-foot box made of solid concrete. This concrete is to be at least 4 feet thick on all sides. One camera is to be monitored at all times in the cell of SCP-XXXX placed on the ceiling 4 feet from the subject, only looking at the back of the screen. This camera will only be monitored by R&D Doctors of at least Level 03. Tests and entry of SCP-XXXX’s cell must be cleared by the Site Director, 05-█ and Dr. █████████████.
Description: SCP-XXXX (Also known as “The Laptop”) appears as a regular dark-grey laptop, The screen being 8.6 Inches Tall and 12.2 Inches wide. SCP-XXXX has an unknown marking on the back in place of a logo, representing a scratched out X. The screen displays a tall, skinny figure with a lush forest background. During tests, the creature is reported not to move, although over time test subjects will slowly see a smile grow on the figure’s face. The effects of SCP-XXXX will be caused by looking at the screen of the object in any way. These effects will take place approximately 2 minutes after the subject has looked that the screen of SCP-XXXX and will begin with nausea, suicidal thoughts, screaming, suicidal attempts, and if uncontained, eventually death. Once a subject is put under the effects of SCP-XXXX, the subject will be addressed as SCP-XXXX-1. After approximately 5 minutes under the influence of SCP-XXXX, the subject will enter a rage state. This entails thrashing, scratching, and followed by strange whispering. During a test, an R&D Professor says that the whispering does not match any language in the SCP Foundation database. After 30 minutes under the effects of SCP-XXXX (One subject has ever survived until this point), physical changes will occur. These changes will slowly develop, including; growth in height, loss of hair, loss of eye pigmentation, fading pupils, and/or growth of nails (Fingernails and toenails). At this point, SCP-XXXX-1 Is to be immediately terminated unless ordered to stand down by the 05-█. After multiple tests, it has been confirmed that any attempt to close the screen of SCP-XXXX will lead to one of the following medical conditions; Heart failure, seizure, stroke, or loss of breathing. No matter the effort into reviving SCP-XXXX-1, the condition will kill them within minutes.

[0:00] D-Class subject 076 was placed into the chamber, equipped with a charge vest built to shock the subject in case of hesitation to follow orders. The subject was instructed to remove the sheet from the screen of the computer and describe what was on the screen. [READ SCP DESC. FOR RESULT] [2:36]SCP-XXXX-1 moves into the corner and starts crying and scratching at themselves until detained into a chair by security. [5:01] SCP-XXXX-1 starts screaming, thrashing, and at times whispering. [30:27] SCP-XXXX-1 starts growing in size, and without direction 2 Mobile Task units enter the room and shoot SCP-XXXX-1 in the head 10 times each, subject goes limp and without a pulse.
