Description:

SCP-4270 is a book made of perfectly clear glass. While closed SCP-4270 has a 15 cm width, 20 cm length, and 2 1/2 cm height. While closed SCP-4270 has no clear markings, writing, or images on the outside or on the pages inside of it. SCP-4270 has a thicker sheet of glass on it's front, resembling a front cover, however it does not have a similar thick sheet of glass on the back, to represent a back cover. Currently SCP-4270 has ███ pages.

It was found at █████ along with other various items. Upon sight with SCP-4270 subjects begin to look through the pages. This affect is triggered only when the subject can see through the entirety of SCP-4270, hence the metal divider.

From audio and video recordings of tests subjects appear to search for secret information in the pages. During tests Subjects will continue to read SCP-4270. Subjects will always start with the first page and read every page until they reach the last page. This condition will persist even if they are removed from SCP-4270 or view of the book is obstructed. To observers the last page appears blank, but subjects appear to read something on it. After reading the last page subjects will start to disintegrate and another page will be added to SCP-4270.

While a subject is reading the book pictures have been taken of different pages inside the book. These pages appear to contain a carved image depicting various "things". These images range from landscapes to people. The format of these images and any accompanying text appears to be in the format similar to a research journal. The text is in an unknown language.
