SCP-XXXX is a humanoid figure entirely made of a black mist that has is made up of an unknown substance different to the
regular mist found in this dimension. The properties of SCP-XXXX is that it has a non physical body allowing objects to pass
through it with ease, rendering the use of firearms unefffective when containing this SCP. SCP-XXX can vary from a height of 2.4 m
to 2.6 m and is usually found in dark areas such as forest, caves and abandoned buildings with bordered up windows, meaning that this SCP
cnannot cope with sulight. This SCP can disperse itself in a Dense black mist leading to the use of infrared vision being the only viable
option when containing this SCP. However due to the unknown substance creating the black mist, any organic substance/matter such as a human
or animal that enters the mist without any proective gear will decompose at an accelerated rate leaving to death within 5 seconds of exposure.
SCP-XXXX can be seen to have red/yellow eyes glowing withing the mist and when it has reveted into a humanoid appearance.
The humanoid appearnce has been noted to be androgynous leading to speculation that SCP-XXXX has no gender. When nearing SCP-XXXX and intense feeling of
dread will overcome you leading to paranoia, after exposure to SCP-XXXX subjects have reported experiencing vivid night terrors of death, mutilation and
objects from other dimensions, depending on what happens inside of the night terrors that are experienced in another dimension can lead to death.

Note: Any living creature exposed to the black mist will be decomposed to the point that no traces of bones can be found or seen, however there will sill be
a strong smell of decomposition still lingering in the area.

SCP-XXXX is a highly aggressive being in which the statement "demonic" is an understatement. In locations where SCP-XXXX has resided, large claw marks of unknown
origin can be found on the walls reported to be 1 m in length and 2 inches deep.

SCP-XXXX has been heard to mutter and speak on very rare occasions in a very deep and raspy voice, it is unknown as to how SCP-XXXX can communicate since the
only notable feature on ots face are its eyes (no other facial features have been seen on SCP-XXXX)

In recent reports SCP-XXXX has been known to travel by foot, mindlessly walking through dark spaces and is mainly seen in the corner of your eye.

Due to the nature of the Black Mist's substance SCP-XXXX has been confined in a large 15 m x 15 m square solely made of ballistic glass reinforced with titanium,
the outside perimeter is to be flooded with ultra violet light to contain the mist to inside of the containment cell. Observation platforms are to be at least 20 m away
from SCP-XXXX's containment to avoid researchers suffering from the intense feeling of dread currently unmanned drones are to be used to enact tests of the substance the Black
Mist is made of. Currently D-class personnel are to where protective gear when entering SCP-XXXX's cell and are intstructs to stay in the light of the ultra violet light that
enters the cell, this is to tests whether the effects are the black mist are take effect when a living organism is in a light that penetrates the black mist.
Other tests that are to be carried out with SCP-XXXX are:
-What materials do and dont decompose within the mist
-Is SCP-XXXX useful for terminating other SCPs
-Is it safe to use SCP-XXXX decomposing effect to clean unknown materials from other tests involving SCPs
-Does the Black Mist carry any sort of disease that can or cant be treated
-Can SCP-XXXX be terminated
-Can SCP-XXXX be used as a [REDACTED] [][][][] for [][][][] SCP-096 and any supposedly immortal SCPs

Note 2: Tests have found that the decomposition element of the Black Mist has found that the half life of any radiation will be sigificanty reduced.

SCP-XXXX Containment Information Security Clearance Level 3: ACCESS GRANTED…..

The cell in which SCP-XXXX currently reside is a large 15 m x 15 m glass box that that is also 15 m in height, the walls and ceiling are made out of titanium reinforced ballistic
glass that is 1.3 m thick since it is unknown whether SCP-XXXX is the perpetrator of the claw marks found in its last living place. The permeter of the Glass box is to be constantly
bombarded with floodlights which emit ultra violet light since it has been found to be the most effective tool in containing SCP-XXXX. Observation platforms for SCP-XXXX are to be placed
at a minimum distance if 20 m to avoid researchers from suffering the intense feeling of dread from SCP-XXXX's black mist. The walls of the outside of the containment cell are to be made out
of lead that is apprximately 1 m thick. The entrance to the holding cell is to have a two (2) blast doors one (1) being accessed by a level 3 Key card and the other being Accessed through DNA.
In case of blackout a back up battery is to immediately restore the ultra violet lights surrounding the cell. Two (2) guards are to be placed outside of the blast door equipped with firearms and
Large ultra violet torches.

In case of containment breach floor 16-18 of Facility #[][] are to be immediately evacuated due to difficulty of recontaining SCP-XXXX and due to its highly aggressive nature. Strict security of entrances
to floors are to be place at the entrances of floor 16. Any attempt to access floor 16-18 by unauthorised personnel are to be met with immediate termination.

A Humanoid made entirely of a unknown black substance that acts in a similar manner to mist. Made some changes to idea (looking for feedback)

Phantom mist will be made of an unknown substance with a similar viscosity to mist allowing to act like mist (making it very fine), the substance is able accelerate the decomposition of organic matter depending on the density of the "mist" the entity creates as well as having the effect of significantly reducing the half life of radiation (Fastest decomposition rate has been seen when the entity takes on a humanoid appearance), this is SCP will also give off a sense of overwhelming sense of dread which leads to paranoia to living creatures of similar intellect to that of humans within a 20 m radius. The sense of dread and paranoia is seen to mainly affect those of a weak mentality lead to newer researcher suffering more than seniors.
