Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: The entrance to SCP-XXXX is to be kept locked at all times and personnels are advised to keep a 3m distance from SCP-XXXX
Description: SCP-XXXX is a classic black/red Wild West train consisting only of its locomotive and caboose. The only entrance to SCP-XXXX is through the backdoor of the caboose, which automatically closes when an object steps foot into SCP-XXXX. Scratch marks and worn-out paint suggests previous usage of the train, most likely under harsh conditions in dry climate. Windows show perfect condition and are covered on the inside by pieces of cloth, with no signs of usage prior to the discovery of SCP-XXXX.
The train station housing SCP-XXXX was found on [REDACTED], in [REDACTED]. The railroad that SCP-XXXX is situated on shows sign of decay and seems to end shortly after leaving the train station. Both infrastructure has had no anomalous effects on personnels, therefore it is deemed safe to interact with.
Personnels standing within 3m of SCP-XXXX have reported to feel an overwhelming sense of guilt and remorse, and a force of strong attraction when standing in direct sight of the entrance. Reports of a silhouette behind one of the windows are common, as well as other figures believed to be hallucinations caused from standing too close to the train.
The following experiments were conducted by Dr [REDACTED]:
Experiment-XXXX-01: A bar of iron boxed in a cardboard box was thrown into the train car, which upon entering caused the door to close on its own. No sound can be heard omitting from the train car during the process of waiting for a result. The box and bar of iron was reported to appear in on the porch in front of the door while nearby personnels were not noticing. The box have been torn apart and the bar of iron shaped like a frightened humanoid face. The box shows signs of decay. The door opened again after a few minutes.
Experiment-XXXX-02: Apples and other fruits were thrown in next, also causing the door to shut immediately. The items appeared outside the door while nearby personnels were distracted. All items were rotten and showed signs of decay. The door opened again after a few minutes.
Experiment-XXXX-03: One (1) D-class was instructed to enter the train car and ordered to make a loud noise, such as banging against the walls or shouting. After the doors has shut behind the subject, no sound has been heard from within the train car, nor did results come back for 30 minutes. A distorted body of the subject appeared outside the door of the train car and showed signs of decay. The door opened again after a few minutes, with no signs of blood or violence within the train car.
Experiment-XXXX-04: One (1) D-class was instructed to enter the train car with metal tools and ordered to bang on the walls or the ground. After the doors has shut behind the subject, no results came back for 40 minutes. The door opened again after a few minutes, the subject has disappeared without a trace and no signs of struggle was present.
Experiment-XXXX-05: A rover was sent in to record footage for better understanding of SCP-XXXX. Seconds upon the closing of the door, camera footage went out. Signal only came back for a few more seconds after minutes of wait, showing a glass enclosure surrounding the rover and a spotlight shining on the rover. The rest of the room is completely dark. Video footage stopped and the rover was returned to the door, torn apart and bent in odd shapes.
As no clear results have been obtained to make conclusions on the true nature of SCP-XXXX, testing on SCP-XXXX have been temporarily stopped and the area surrounding the train station have been separated for the Foundation's use.
