Special Containment Procedures: Subject is to be contained in a 20 square foot mirrored room with no line of sight to any staff or Class-D personnel under any circumstance. The only communication with the subject must be through audio exclusively.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid male standing 61 inches in height. The subject has been caught in a photograph by Class-D personnel on one known occurrence, revealing it's stature. The subject can be seen wearing dark clothing, with bright red light emitting from its head area. All sentient beings, including the Class-D responsible for the photo, perish after being exposed to the light. Tests conducted (Dr. ███) have revealed by monitoring brain activity that following exposure to the light causes alarming spikes in Seratonin and drops in Norepinephrine. Additionally, further monitoring of brain activity has revealed that subjects' consciousness never ceases, instead, their bodies are rendered empty shells, with no heartbeat or any movement. This has caused speculation that those exposed are locked in a mental prison, and experience the outside world as an observer instead of an active participant.

Interviewer: Good evening, I'm Dr. ███.
SCP-XXXX: Good evening.
Interviewer: How are you feeling about your stay here?
SCP-XXXX: It's tolerable.
Interviewer: That's a surprising sentiment. Most of our 'guests' don't feel the same way. Anyway, we will continue with the interview. (PAUSE) So why did you come to us?
SCP-XXXX: I was designed to protect humanity. My instincts drew me here.
Interviewer: I'm afraid I don't follow… what do you mean, you were designed to protect humanity.SCP-XXXX: I was a subject. They initially used me as an experiment. They didn't expect their experiment to work first try. Their goal was to produce a superhuman that could protect humanity from existential threats. For the most part, it was successful. However, it had one flaw. The weapon they developed was self-powered, and could never be deactivated. After they completed the experiment, they all died. I was left alone. Something drew me here. So I came.
Interviewer: Interesting.. do you have any knowledge of how the light works?
SCP-XXXX: No.
Interviewer: And were there any additional side effects of the experiment?
SCP-XXXX: Not that I can remember.
Interviewer: Curious. Do you remember the details of your experiment?

Interviewer: The experiments took place in ██████? What organization was responsible?
SCP-XXXX The ███.

It should also be known that any documents of research many provide methods of harnessing and controlling SCP-XXXX.

Addendum XXXX-1: A search party was formed to search for the area of experimentation. After 2 months of searching, the team was able to locate the area in question. They located hordes of information. The most important of which were the (1)methods of experimentation and development and (2)primary methods of controlling SCP-XXXX.

Research Entry: Finally. Our fruits have paid off. I'm glad to write that this entry will describe how to control one of the most powerful weapons of our time. I'm so glad that Dr. ███████ brought up the ████████ idea with me. It completely changes the game. We've now got a surefire way to control this weapon, and we can now put it to use. We have effectively turned the subject's brain into a computer. The ██████ ████████ has been synced up with the ███ Intelligence Network, so all that needs to be done is an upload of the data of a target, and the command. Anyway, on with the actual research.
So, the method we used with this subject was ████████. We engrained the target word in its mind. The target word to search is ███. If the command is given before a target is assigned, the subject will not react. The target word to return to home base is ██████.
I must warn. After given the command to eliminate a target, the subject will accomplish it's mission by any means necessary. This could mean wiping out a city searching for the target. Be extremely cautious when utilizing this subject.
