Description: SCP XXXX is a story about a negligent mother who uses a live sized wooden doll as a way to trick her children into believing she is home. Usually about six days after hearing the story a wooden doll matching the description in the story (SCP XXXX-1) will appear in the victim’s dreams as a parental figure. If the victim does not listen to SCP XXXX-1’s instructions a physical version of SCP XXXX will appear in the victims house (SCP XXXX-2). SCP XXXX-2 is not capable of moving itself however it does seem to be capable of speaking to victims through notes when no one else is there to witness it. In the event the victim tries to harm themselves or SCP XXXX-2, a strange hum will emit from SCP XXXX-2 which causes short term memory loss causing the victim to forget what they were about to do. Seeing SCP XXXX-2 without knowledge of the story will cause the sudden desire to learn and tell the story to children. It is currently unknown how strong the effect is, or if it is possible to recover.
