Transcendental Étude
Item Number: XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 shall be kept in a locked briefcase. Due to the fact that XXXX-1 requires a record player to activate, XXXX-1 is safe for handling by Foundation personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a vinyl record with a recording of Franz Liszt's Transcendental Étude no. 4, S.139, "Mazeppa", 1852.
When first discovered, SCP-XXXX-1 had a slip of paper taped to it, which contained the following:
As when a mortal–Genius’ prize, alack!
Is, living, bound upon thy fatal back,
Thou reinless racing steed!
In vain he writhes, mere cloud upon a star,
Thou bearest him as went Mazeppa, far
Out of the flow’ry mead,–
So–though thou speed’st implacable, (like him,
Spent, pallid, torn, bruised, weary, sore and dim,
As if each stride the nearer bring
Him to the grave)–when comes the time,
After the fall, he rises–KING!
This has been recognized as Victor Hugo's poem, "Mazeppa
Like I, hub but free for everyone.

Special Containment Procedures:
The Foundation currently has no means of containment, however, the US Air Force approved an escort for SCP-XXXX, hereby dubbed SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 is to follow SCP-XXXX at all times, changing shifts when necessary. Should SCP-XXXX move out of observational range, SCP-██ is to be used to re-acquire SCP-XXXX's location.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is located near ███████, the United States. SCP-XXXX's hangars, hereby dubbed SCP-XXXX-2, are ██ miles from ███████ and can house the entirety of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-2
SCP-XXXX was discovered when USAF fighters on a training exercise noticed SCP-XXXX flying quite close to them. SCP-XXXX is monitored by U.S. fighters, hereby dubbed SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX is only visible within 100ft, and when being directly looked at.
SCP-XXXX is an anomalous squadron of 28 80 aircraft; Following Incident-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX now consists of 20 F-22 Raptors, 25 F-16C Vipers, 20 F-15EX Eagles, and 15 F/A-18E Super Hornets, cruising at respectively, 1963 kph, 928 kph, 1250 kph, and 1054 kph, at 7620m.
SCP-XXXX can carry any weapon that its aircraft type is capable of employing. And tests show that SCP-XXXX's ordnance is incapable of harming humans. SCP-XXXX does not require fuel, does not emit any sound waves, and though there are pilots visible inside SCP-XXXX, they seem unable to communicate in any way, though they can see when aircraft are approaching them, nor are the aircraft themselves visible on radar.
SCP-XXXX has a somewhat vengeful nature assaulting anything that attempts to harm humans. SCP-XXXX's "Defensive Range", according to Dr. Wilson1, is approximately ████km in diameter.
SCP-XXXX has no radar or heat signature whatsoever, despite more than half its aircraft neither being of stealth design, nor of design attempting to reduce heat signature. U.S. DoD identified SCP-XXXX as its new 213th Fighter Wing, costing more than $6 billion. SCP-XXXX has no heat or radar signature even when within viewing range. XXXX

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept on Dr. Valemera's desk, as it is seemingly incapable of harming humans.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a compass whose design is of the 1890s. SCP-XXXX can lead the user anywhere the user wishes to go.
Addendum:
SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 3m x 3m steel cube. SCP-XXXX is not to be in sunlight under any circumstances and is to be watered each week. The feeding of fertilizer, plant food, and any other growth-assisting substances is prohibited.
SCP-XXXX should not be disturbed in any way, excluding watering, lest it breach containment. Should SCP-XXXX breach containment, MTFs Nu-7, and Epsilon-11 are to be dispatched jointly to form MTF Tau-19 "The Joint Forces", to attempt re-containment and termination of SCP-XXXX-1 through 4.
Should SCP-XXXX breach containment, Tau-19 should move toward the escaped instances as follows:
Tau-19-Epsilon-11 should proceed towards SCP-XXXX in Cougar 6x6 MRAPs. Nu-7 should follow with infantry fighting vehicles to assist with termination.
All vehicles directly involved with the re-containment of SCP-XXXX should have at least one gun with a caliber exceeding 12.6mm in diameter, and 98mm in length. All helicopters carrying personnel shall have at one door gun with an M134 firing specially made 7.62x51mm RESONANCE bullets.
All vehicles not directly involved with the re-containment of SCP-XXXX should be within 20km of Tau-19 and SCP-XXXX. Should SCP-XXXX change direction and head towards the non-combatant vehicles and their crew, the non-combatant vehicles42 should then execute a "rapid teardown", and leave the vicinity within 20 minutes. If the time limit of 20 minutes is exceeded, Irascible shall leave the area, and any equipment left behind shall stay until the area has been deemed clear for Irascible to re-enter, after which, Irascible may return and re-acquire any equipment left behind, then follow Tau-19.
Should SCP-XXXX enter its hyper-charged state, MTF Tau-19 should be immediately dispatched, and OH-58 scout crafts are to be deployed to assist in the termination of SCP-XXXX-'s four instances.
SCP-XXXX is a Dracaena Trifasciata plant, measuring approximately 1.7m tall in a brown clay planter. SCP-XXXX is dark green with lighter patches, varying from lime green to emerald green throughout all o SCP-XXXX's foliage.
SCP-XXXX is capable of transporting itself using its tendrils and can adhere to walls and ceilings. SCP-XXXX's tendrils are abnormally long compared to a non-anomalous snake plant and are much more resistant to damage. SCP-XXXX can use its tendrils to propel itself up to a speed of approximately 20 kilometers per hour.
SCP-XXXX does not require sunlight or nutrient-rich soil, but SCP-XXXX does require consistent watering, and will possibly die if neglected long enough. Whenever SCP-XXXX comes into contact with sunlight, it grows to approximately 1.7x its size.
Whenever SCP-XXXX comes into contact with growth assistants, it enters a hyper-charged state, becoming much faster. When in this form, SCP-XXXX has some ability to dodge bullets and other projectiles. This form lasts for [REDACTED] minutes.
SCP-XXXX can spawn up to seven smaller versions of itself, dubbed SCP-XXXX-1 through 4. Should SCP-XXXX spawn one of its four instances, they are to be terminated immediately.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a small cognitohazardous Aloe Vera plant approximately 28cm in height, in a grey plastic planter. SCP-XXXX-1 shares almost all the same traits as SCP-XXXX, but has been noted to cause insanity and schizophrenia in all subjects it has been exposed to. SCP-XXXX-1's cognito-hazardous range is close to 20m and affects subjects within 30 minutes.
SCP-XXXX-1's cognitohazardous effect has affected ██ personnel, most notably Lt. Jabez ██████, whose schizophrenia has rendered him unfit for work in MTF Epsilon-11. Lt. Jabez has shown no signs of recovery after standard therapy, and use of SCP-500 is pending authorization authorization of the use of SCP-500 was granted, however, Lt. Jabez showed minimal signs of recovery, still retaining botanophobia.
SCP-XXXX-1's method of transportation is similar to that of SCP-650, moving only when not looked at. Tests show that SCP-XXXX-1 will not move even when the subject viewing it is not conscious of its presence. When moving, SCP-XXXX-1 will emit a dull sound similar to that of a cello.
Unauthorized access is forbidden.
Description: SCP-XXXX-2 is a Philodendron Erubescens, around 28cm in height and a dull teal.
SCP-XXXX-2 is a mnemonic and cognitive hazard, tending to insert its tendrils into the [REDACTED] of certain subjects. SCP-XXXX-2 seems to pick these subjects at random.
Description: SCP-XXXX-3 is an overgrown Tradescantia Zebrina which is 90cm tall in a planter much smaller than the expected size. SCP-XXXX-3 is a burnt orange color, with darker patches spread erratically on the leaves.
SCP-XXXX-3's vines slowly strangle their prey and pull it apart into several smaller pieces. These pieces vary in size from 3 centimeters cubed to 11 centimeters cubed. SCP-XXXX-3 ingests its prey by using one of its tendrils to ██████ its
Following a containment breach at Site-██, SCP-███-█44 breached containment. Following the procedure, MTF-Tau-19 "The Joint Forces" was deployed to terminate SCP-XXXX's instances and re-contain SCP-XXXX.

This project is for personnel with level 4/XXXX clearance only.
Project RESONANCE was created to assist in the termination of SCP-XXXX's instances, but has proved itself to be an effective weapon in the termination of several dangerous objects, acquiring a score of 7.9 Vl.45
RESONANCE was developed by Dr. Eduardo Valemera, Dr. Lamilton Beale III, Dr. Elias Shaw, and Dr. Erena Leif, intending to develop a weapon to terminate the instances of SCP-XXXX, but this project has found many more purposes and tasks than the one intended for it.
RESONANCE, standing for RESpective Ordinance Negative Ammunition Non-volatile Combat Effective, is primarily an ammunition project, also tasked with creating specialized weapons intended to be used as an effective choice for the termination of SCP-XXXX's instances.
RESONANCE ammunition works by using electricity and kinetic force to damage and injure the target. Most of the electricity is generated from a specialized coating on the bullets, a compound known as [REDACTED].
Coating A works to take static electricity from the air it travels through, storing it in the actual bullet under the coating. It does this by taking the static electricity from the air and the air molecules rubbing against each other. Coating B works to amplify the energy acquired by Coating A and store this energy inside the dielectric core of the bullet.
There is a thin layer of Coating A on top of a slightly thicker layer of Coating B, and there is the penetration tip made of tungsten carbide protruding through both coatings, with a small copper anode in the center of the penetration tip, covering a small portion of the penetration tip and allowing a connection between the target and the electricity stored in the dielectric core of the bullet.
The propellant is melted into the base of the cartridge and compressed to a high extent. At the base of the cartridge, the propellant is ground into a fine powder to assist in combustion.
The primer is made primarily of cerium. When struck, the cerium creates a large number of sparks, which ignite the finely ground propellant at the base of the cartridge.
When the bullet comes in contact with anything, it discharges all of the energy it collected during its travel, into the target. If the target is living, the electric shock would be powerful enough to severely injure it.
At farther distances(~500m), where the bullet has lost a significant portion of its kinetic energy, it has acquired large amounts of electric energy(~1.7J), and the bullet would have theoretically reached temperatures of up to 50 degrees Celsius.
What is Project RESONANCE ✓, what the acronym stands for✓, something about the project, how the weapons work, how the ordinance works, and why the foundation developed this project✓, table showing the effectiveness of weapons on the Valemera scale. 3/7 done
Seeking Greenlights: Yes
Page Type: SCP Article
Elevator Pitch: Hostile plant with four instances. They can eat you, make you insane, screw up its document to make it misleading, and pretend to be a tree and grab you when you least expect it.
Central Narrative: The original plant was confiscated by the GOC that raided a CI base and sent the recovered specimens to the Foundation for typical Foundation purposes(research, testing, examination, etc.).
The plant's instances can only be terminated by using [insert RESONANCE full name here] weapons, as they are resistant to most weapons, and has a particular vulnerability to electricity.

Note that these classifications do not apply to the individual instances of SCP-XXXX, rather they apply when they are all together. Refer to the instances' individual descriptions for the appropriate classifications.
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX should be contained in a 5m3 polycarbonate chamber with a port above to allow sunlight in. Specialized reflectors should be used when the sun goes past the port to reflect sunlight back into the chamber. SCP-XXXX should not be exposed to growth assistants.46 SCP-XXXX should be watered daily and trimmed weekly. The chamber should not exceed 38∘C.
Description:
SCP-XXXX-1 closely resembles an overgrown snake plant47 in a black planter that appears to be made out of wood.48 SCP-XXXX-1 is approximately 70cm tall. SCP-XXXX-1 appears intelligent and is relatively docile.
XXXX-1’s leaves are very sharp on their tips and points. These leaves are very durable and can grow extremely long.49 XXXX-1 can grow significantly faster than non-anomalous plants, depending on the conditions of its surroundings.50
Infrared light slows XXXX-1’s growth rate considerably. XXXX-1 can consume flesh,51 and when exposed to animals(live or deceased), uses its leaves to penetrate the skin and take root inside the subject.
XXXX-1 grows faster while consuming a subject, although to what extent the growth rate is augmented appears to vary depending on the nutritional content of the subject. If the subject attempts to flee XXXX-1, it will tangle its leaves around the subject's legs. When exposed to live plant matter it uses its leaves in the same manner as previously stated.52
XXXX-1’s leaves are sensitive to touch and temperature, and if XXXX-1’s leaves reach the maximum height its surroundings will allow, XXXX-1’s will spread along the closest surface available. If there is no space for a leaf to spread along, it will move to the closest surface available. XXXX-1 also attempts to spread in any soil it finds.53 XXXX-1 also spreads in contaminated soil, although these instances have their growth rates handicapped.
XXXX-1 is capable of self-locomotion and uses its leaves to lift itself above the ground.54 XXXX-1 makes around 5-20dB of noise when moving, and can stalk its prey.55 While stalking its prey, XXXX-1 will become motionless if the subject has it in its field of view. It can also insert its leaves into its surroundings.56
When coordinating with other XXXX instances,57 XXXX-1 is the “leader”, often directing the other instances to tasks. XXXX-1 receives the nutrients it requires from the soil in its planter.58
SCP-XXXX-2 resembles an Asian Jasmine59 in a black planter.60 SCP-XXXX-2 is intelligent and approximately 65cm tall. XXXX-2 will become aggressive if approached threateningly.61
XXXX-2 grows relatively quickly62 compared to a non-anomalous Asian Jasmine. XXXX-2 can consume flesh63 and does so by using its vines to strangle its prey and insert its vines into the skin to harvest nutrients from the subject. XXXX-2's growth rate is hampered while under infrared light.
XXXX-2’s vines are very sensitive to light, touch, and sound. Due to this, XXXX-2 often acts as an “early-warning platform” for the other instances. XXXX-2’s vines(when inside a building), spread mainly on the floor and roof of its surroundings. XXXX-2's vines are prehensile and can bear large amounts of weight.64
XXXX-2 is capable of self-locomotion, using its vines in the same manner as XXXX-1.65 XXXX-2 can move at the same speed as XXXX-1, though it usually doesn't.
XXXX-2's leaves spread in all directions, attaching themselves to wherever they find solid material. XXXX-2's vines use tendrils and aerial rootlets when adhering to soft or natural materials. When attaching to harder materials, XXXX-2's vines use sucker disks to attach.
XXXX-2's vines also release toxic dust6667 when XXXX-2's vines are disturbed, that when inhaled, irritates the lungs and causes uncontrollable coughing in the subject. This dust coats the inside of the lung and clogs the subject's bronchioles and alveoli.
XXXX-2 also spreads a gelatin-like substance68 on any surface it attaches to. Substance-XXXX-2-B corrodes whatever it comes into contact with.69
Substance-XXXX-2-A also remains airborne for disproportionate amounts of time,70 around 5-11 hours. XXXX-2's vines also corrode and damage the material they have attached to by secreting Substance-XXXX-2-A onto the material. This compound appears to contain several acids mixed with pollen. The pollen contains a compound similar to that used by SCP-XXXX-3 when hunting.
SCP-XXXX-3 is a cognito-hazardous white Calla lily71 in a transparent planter.72SCP-XXXX-3 is approximately 50cm tall. SCP-XXXX-3 is also sentient and has moderate intelligence.
SCP-XXXX-3 is capable of self-locomotion and has prehensile leaves which can bear a maximum weight of around 3 kg per leaf.7374
XXXX-3 grows multicolored flowers that, when smelled, cause the subject to believe that XXXX-1 through 4 are “harmless flowers” and attempt to convince other subjects of XXXX’s “innocence". The cause for this is believed to be due to XXXX-3's pollen in the flowers.
XXXX-3 spreads its pollen75 on nearby surfaces. This pollen contains several neurochemicals and biomolecules. SCP-XXXX-3 is capable of spraying Substance-XXXX-3 into subjects' faces.76
XXXX-3 often hunts for prey by using its pollen to affect their prey into thinking XXXX-3 is innocuous. XXXX-3 will then approach the subject and use its non-flowering leaves to penetrate into the subject and spread roots inside the subject.
XXXX-3 is also capable of concealing itself by changing the color of its leaves and flowers to blend into its surroundings. XXXX-3's camouflage varies in effectiveness however, being a few shades off from its surroundings.77
SCP-XXXX-4 resembles a bird of paradise78 in a large black planter,79 approximately 185cm tall. SCP-XXXX-4 is vaguely intelligent and tends to act hostile towards novel environments or circumstances. SCP-XXXX-4 is carnivorous and will use its leaves to entangle and pull apart its prey. SCP-XXXX-4 is the strongest of all the SCP-XXXX instances,80 and is extremely aggressive.
Addendum:
Premise: This test focused on the effects of SCP-XXXX-3's flowers, more specifically the pollen contained in the flowers, by exposing one D-Class81 personnel to XXXX-3.

Recovery Logs
[Recovery Log, 10-16-2023, 0723 GMT+1]
Summary: MTFs Epsilon-6 and Theta-4 were dispatched to contain a previously unknown anomaly. The following is a transcript from body camera footage.
[Begin Log]
Several agents are visible inside a helicopter.
Epsilon-6-4: You'll never believe this.
Epsilon-6-13: What?
Epsilon-6-4: I forgot to press record.
Epsilon-6-13: I knew it.
Pilot: We're at the drop zone!
E-6-4: I think this is our stop.
E-6-1: Take us down!
The helicopter lands and Epsilon-6-1 through 15 dismount.
E-6-1: Alright boys, it's go time. If you're wondering why we didn't get a briefing about this anomaly, it's because we don't know what it is. We heard rumors about a couple folks who went missing in this area. It's our job to find out if what's causing this is anomalous, and if not hand it over to the regular authorities. Any questions?
E-6-5: Do we know what it looks like?
E-6-1: No.
E-6-14: Will it hurt us?
E-6-1: Let me reiterate: we do not know anything about this anomaly. It could be a man-eating plant, or a bear inviting people into its cave for tea.
E-6-4: Whispers to E-6-13 I really think it's the last one.
E-6-13: You wish.
E-6-4: Well, we've had a lot of dangerous anomalies these past few months, and it would be nice to find something harmless for once.
E-6-13: Well I suppose a guy can dream. Just make sure you wake up for the mission.
E-6-1: Let's move out boys. We've got a monster to catch.
E-6-4: He could have phrased that better.
Skip 23 minutes.
0755 hours
Epsilon-6 is approaching an abandoned house.
E-6-13: -thinking we were hunting for squirrels.
E-6-4: Well-
E-6-1: Contact front!
XXXX's leaves are protruding through the windows and doors of the house.
E-6-11: What the hell are those?
E-6-4: Okay. That's a little…
E-6-13: Odd?
E-6-4: You took the words right out of my mouth.
E-6-1: Do not approach the target! Into radio Overwatch, we have contact with the anomaly, it appears to be..
E-6-4: Infesting.
E-6-1: Continues into radio Infesting an abandoned house. No civilians nearby.
Overwatch: Proceed with caution.
E-6-4: I just thought of something. How are we going to contain this?
E-6-13: I'll do you one better, how will we move it without anyone noticing?
E-6-1: Let's work out a plan. Keep that thing in your peripheral and make sure it doesn't try anything. Let's head to those bushes.
Epsilon-6-1 through 15 move from the house and crouch behind cover.
E-6-4: Making a plan. Our only weakness.
E-6-13: They don't call us the village idiots for nothing.
E-6-11: What if we built a containment site here?
E-6-1: Shakes head Not enough time.
E-6-13: What about a temporary site?
E-6-1: We'll have to bring it in on a chopper. Who knows what could happen by the time it gets here. And a temporary site is not as secure, not to mention that someone could see it.
E-6-4: We'll have to trim those leaves and try to find the root of the problem.
E-6-13: How are we going to pull that off?
E-6-4: No clue.
E-6-9: Could we burn the leaves?
E-6-1: We might kill the object. Looks like we'll have to go with Hawkeye's plan.
E-6-13: We don't even have a pair of garden shears.
E-6-1: Getting a dozen pairs of garden shears isn't the problem, it's getting in there and not dying.
E-6-13: I'm still not convinced.
E-6-1: Don't worry, I'll ask them to get the kind that you can extend.
E-6-4: How about a hedge trimmer? Or a weed eater?
E-6-1: I'll think about it.
E-6-1 turns away.
E-6-1: Into radio Overwatch, we need 15 extendable garden shears and a dozen weed eaters…
E-6-1 moves out of earshot.
E-6-4: I guess we'll stay in this bush then.
Skip 29 minutes.
E-6-4: -a squirrel, so she said-
E-6-13: Hey, listen. You hear that?
E-6-4: Sounds like Ride of the Valkyries.
E-6-13: Just like Sigma-9 to play their own theme song.
Two CH-47s lands in a clearing near Epsilon-6.
E-6-1: There's our garden shears and hedge trimmers boys.
Epsilon-6 moves toward Sigma-9.
E-6-1: There's plenty for everyone. To Sigma-9-4 Get those generators out and set up those extension cords. Try to put them close so we have plenty of slack.
Skip 14 minutes.
0829 hours
E-6-1: -squirrels. Everyone ready?
E-6-4: Well, I can't not go in there, so I'm ready.
E-6-1: Good.
Epsilon-6 enters the building.
E-6-1: See those vines on the ground? You guys with weed eaters make sure they don't become a problem.
E-6-7: Yes sir.
Epsilon-6-5, 6-7, 6-8, 6-9, 6-14, and 6-15 remain by the entrance and begin pruning the vines on the ground and walls.
E-6-1: Make sure you get the roof, too.
The remaining members of Epsilon-6 proceed further into the building.
E-6-13: Whoa. Are you getting this?
Epsilon-6 stopped in what appears to be a living room, which is covered in vines and leaves.
E-6-4: We'd better get to work.
E-6-1: Do. I don't want to be in here a second more than I have to. None of you do.
E-6-13: Hey, was that vine always there?
One of XXXX-3's vines is approaching E-6-12.
E-6-1: Definitely not. You know what to do.
E-6-12 uses his hedge trimmer to cut the vine.
E-6-1: Keep your heads on a swivel, we don't want to find out what those vines do.
Epsilon-6 continues through the house, trimming XXXX as they proceed.
E-6-4: Who's going to clean this all up?
E-6-13: Not it.
Epsilon-6 continues into what appears to be a bedroom.
E-6-1: Quiet, I think I see something.
SCP-XXXX-1 is visible, directly in front of E-6-12.
E-6-4: I think that's our anomaly.
E-6-1: Let's get-
E-6-12: [EXPLETIVE]
XXXX-4 appears from a closet and attacks E-6-12.
E-6-4: Damn it!
E-6-1: Help him out!
E-6-1, 6-4 and 6-13 attempt to assist 6-12, who is attempting to cut XXXX-4's leaves.
E-6-1: Get out of here! Move!
E-6-1, 6-4, 6-12, and 6-13 exit the room and return to the living room.
E-6-1: Into radio Sigma-9 did you bring any containment safes?
Sigma-9: Through radio As a matter of fact, we did. We'll bring them out for you.
E-6-1: Excellent. We're going to go back in there, and bring the safe with us. When it goes for us, the bait will jump out of the way and we'll close the safe.
E-6-4: Bait?
E-6-13: Not it.
E-6-1: Hawkeye, today's your lucky day.
E-6-4: I saw this coming.
E-6-13: No, you didn't.
Sigma-9 enters the living room with the safe.
Sigma-9-6: Did some guy order a safe?
E-6-4: No, I ordered a pizza. Speaking of which, it should be here by now.
E-6-1: Right here.
E-6-13: Maybe you told them the wrong address.
E-6-4: Well, I said the forest.
E-6-1: Let's go, Hawkeye.
E-6-4: Oh man.
Epsilon-6 returns to the bedroom.
E-6-1: Ready?
E-6-4: No, actually.
E-6-1: Good. In we go.
Epsilon-6 enters the bedroom.
E-6-4: The place is deserted!
E-6-1: What?
XXXX appears to have left the building.
E-6-13: Odd.
E-6-4: Does this mean we get to go home?
E-6-1: It means we have to find that object.
E-6-4: Can't someone else do it?
E-6-1: I can maybe call in Theta-4 or Gamma-4 for backup, but until they arrive, we're on our own.
E-6-4: Please do that.
E-6-1: Into radio Overwatch, we lost track of the object, requesting MTFs Theta-4 and Gamma-4 for backup. ETA requested.
Overwatch: Through radio Roger, ETA approximately 15 minutes.
E-6-1: Into radio Roger Overwatch, we'll try to locate and track the object until reinforcements arrive.
E-6-4: We're going to be here for a while.
E-6-1: Into radio Listen up team, the objects escaped. I called for backup, but we'll have to find and track them. Let's regroup in the clearing.
Skip 1 hour 11 minutes.

Epsilon-6-1 through 45 are dismounting from several UH-60s and CH-47s.
E-6-1: Is everyone here?
E-6-4: I sure hope no one fell out of a helicopter.
Epsilon-6 moves into the forest, and the helicopters leave.
E-6-1: The purpose of this operation is to locate and contain SCP-XXXX. MTF Sigma-9 will fly above the forest and search for the objects. When they find them, they'll radio us and let us know the objects' location. Epsilon-6, Gamma-4, and Theta-4 will be the primary forces used to capture the object. Sigma-9 will bring mobile containment chambers, and airdrop them close to the object when we have it in custody. If someone or something screws up, Xi-13 will come in and assist. Iota-10 will be telling everyone that we're dealing with an infestation of feral animals, and Gamma-5 will be running interference as well. We're scheduled to begin at 0600 hours, so get plenty of sleep. Any questions?
E-6-4: How long will this take?
E-6-1: Hours.
E-6-4: Damn.
E-6-13: To E-6-4 Xi-13? Never heard of them.
E-6-4: Sequere Nos. Very odd people.
E-6-1: Let's move people! Anomalies wait for no man!

E-6-11: I see something moving!
E-6-1: Where is it?
E-6-11: It's next to those- it is those vines!
SCP-XXXX's vines are visible climbing a tree.
E-6-1: Form a cordon around it and check nearby. The object can't be far.
Epsilon-6-1 through 45 form a cordon around the tree.
E-6-1: Into radio Overwatch, we have the object in sight. Well, its vines anyway. We are currently searching for the objects.
Overwatch: Through radio Copy.
E-6-15: Nothing around here.
E-6-1: What do you mean, "nothing around here"?
E-6-15: Those vines aren't connected to anything, they're just there.
E-6-1: Into radio Overwatch, we've been baited. There's nothing around here.
Overwatch: Through radio Copy. Be advised, Sigma-9 has stopped several possible areas of the object's activity.
E-6-1: Into radio Roger, overwatch. Spoken Let's go. There's nothing for us here.

E-6-13: You thought that the last time.
E-6-4: I couldn't help it.
SCP-XXXX-1 through 4 is visible moving through the forest.
E-6-1: Into radio Overwatch, we've got the real deal this time. Tell Sigma-9 to send those containers our way.
Overwatch: Through radio Copy.
E-6-1: Move quietly.
Epsilon-6 follows SCP-XXXX through the forest.

E-6-1: Let's herd them into the chamber.
Epsilon-6 slowly herds SCP-XXXX towards the clearing.
SCP-XXXX pauses and turns to face Epsilon-6.
E-6-1: Cut it off and make a circle around it so it can't escape!
Epsilon-6 forms a circle around XXXX.
E-6-1: Tighten the spread around it!
Epsilon-6 moves closer around XXXX.
E-6-1: Now for the hard part. Into radio Sigma-9, open up that container for us and bring out some safes. Spoken We have to get them into the containers. Anyone have any ideas?
E-6-4: I have an idea, but you're not going to like it.
E-6-1: Let's hear it.
E-6-4: I walk slowly towards them and throw them into the container.
E-6-1: You'd need three more volunteers.
E-6-13: I'll volunteer.
E-6-1: Anyone else?
Silence
E-6-1: All right, 6-7 and 6-15, you're up.
E-6-7: Damn. I thought number seven was supposed to be lucky.

Operation Asset Recovery
This section of this document is Level 4 classified.
This operation was chartered to reacquire SCP-XXXX-1 through 4, which had breached containment and had fled to the city of Lusaka, Zambia. MTF Theta-4 ("Gardeners") was dispatched, along with Iota-10 ("Damn Feds"), and Sigma-9("Valkyries"). The cause of the containment breach was determined to be the exposure of SCP-XXXX to a millimeter wave machine, which appeared to interfere with SCP-XXXX's cells which control its movement and behavior. The following is a transcript from body camera footage.
Begin Log, 1934 hours, 11-27-2023
