ERROR 404: FILE NOT FOUND
5/(-000) LEVEL 5/(-000)CLASSIFIED |
![]() |
Item #: SCP-(-000)Object Class: Keter |
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-(-000) cannot be physically contained due to its pseudo-nonexistence and resistance to observation. Efforts to track or monitor the subject manually result in null data returns or total system failure. As of ██/██/20██, direct containment attempts are suspended indefinitely.
Description: SCP-(-000) appears as a Japanese male, approximately 1.8 meters in height, wearing black formal wear including a trench coat, gloves, dress shoes, and a wide-brimmed hat. Despite its humanoid appearance, SCP-(-000) cannot be captured on video, audio, thermal, or bio-metric surveillance systems without severe corruption or complete deletion.
NOTICE FROM THE O-5 COUNCIL AND ANTIMEMETICS DIVISION
All information pertaining to SCP-(-000) is considered inherently anomalous, as no records of its initial discovery or classification exist.
— O5-█, O-5 Council
Attempts to revise, save, or duplicate this document, including attempts to assign a valid Item Number, result in system errors, deletion of edit history, and non-associated file corruption. All prior attempts to formally update SCP-(-000)’s entry have failed, with Foundation archivists unable to recall initiating such tasks.
SCP-(-000) is a low-intensity cognitohazard. It causes no direct harm: individuals who encounter SCP-(-000) in person will retain no memory of the encounter within approximately ten (10) minutes. Secondary effects include brief dissociation, déjà vu, or a persistent sense of loneliness.
Indirect observations of SCP-(-000)-A indicate that SCP-(-000) speaks fluent Japanese and has been presumed monolingual. Corrupted surveillance footage displays that the entity's behavior is consistent with a non-anomalous civilian. Its presence is generally disregarded by the public unless anomalously perceived.
SCP-(-000)-A
SCP-(-000)-A is a matte-black 7.62 cm x 12.7 cm identification badge affixed to the lapel of SCP-(-000)’s coat. The badge autonomously updates its displayed credentials without physical or electronic input. Displayed text frequently contains impossible, contradictory, or corrupted designations, including but not limited to:
- CLEARANCE LEVEL: -0
- ACCESS: NULL
- DR. UKUZI IKO–SENIOR ANTIMEMETIC ANALYST
- STATUS: NaN
Attempts to remove, replicate, or photograph SCP-(-000)-A have universally failed. Any attempt to access, scan, or log the badge results in catastrophic system failure. (See Addendum -000.2)
Attempts to find the name Dr. Ukuzi Iko in Foundation archives have yielded no results. It is undetermined whether SCP-(-000)-A is a remnant of a newly anomalous Foundation personnel's credentials or an unrelated extension of SCP-(-000)’s properties.
SCP-(-000)-B
SCP-(-000)-B is a string of corrupted metadata found embedded in all files associated with SCP-(-000), including logs, audio records, incident reports, and revision histories. The string appears as:
N̸o̴b̵o̶d̸y̸ ̷e̴x̷i̴st̶s̶
Attempts to remove or alter SCP-(-000)-B result in file corruption or reversion to an earlier unedited version. The string does not appear to serve any functional purpose and is not recognized as originating from any Foundation operating system, software suite, or language pack.
Despite its apparent harmlessness, it has appeared in at least ██ unrelated documents following contact with automated archival systems. Personnel who repeatedly encounter SCP-(-000)-B have reported mild symptoms including:
- Dissociation.
- Forgetting names of well-known personnel.
- In two cases, erasure from local facial recognition systems.
Incident Log B-1: Terminal Interaction–SCP-(-000)-B
DATE: ██/██/20██
LOCATION: Site-██, Sub level 3, Archive Sector A
INVOLVED PERSONNEL: Dr. Alayna Voss
CLEARANCE LEVEL: 3
OBJECT OF STUDY: SCP-(-000)-B
RESULT: Recovered; Minor psychological effect
At 02:41:17 local time, Dr. Alayna Voss approached Archive Hallway Sector A. Upon scanning their personnel badge at Reader A3, the system logged the following unexpected output:
USER: DR. UKUZI IKO
CLEARANCE: LEVEL 4
ACCESS GRANTED
Dr. Voss reports no knowledge of any such user and a Local terminal displayed SCP-(-000)-B before restarting. Security footage shows Dr. Voss staring at the scanner for several seconds before continuing into the corridor. At 02:43:06, Dr. Voss re-attempted their keycard at Reader A5. This time, credentials displayed correctly:
USER: DR. ALAYNA VOSS
CLEARANCE: LEVEL 3
ACCESS GRANTED
After-Event Interview (Excerpt):
Agent ██████: Did you notice anything unusual about your badge before the scan?
Dr. Voss: No, but the scanner froze. It called me Iko for some reason.
Agent ██████: Do you know anyone by that name?
[A long pause ensues]
Dr. Voss: No, I… I don’t think so.
Post-Incident Notes:
- No permanent system anomalies detected.
- Badge reassigned and verified.
- Dr. Voss cleared for continued duty, despite reports of low-level anxiety, insomnia, and disassociation.
- Psych evaluation scheduled. No further action recommended unless symptoms escalate.
SCP-(-000)-C
Item #: SCP-(-000)-C
Object Class: Erased
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the conceptual deletion of SCP-(-000)-C from reality, containment procedures are not required. The Foundation no longer has the means to contact, detect, or remember SCP-(-000)-C outside of this archive.
Date of Last Observation: 2007
Description: SCP-(-000)-C was a non-anomalous 13-year-old Japanese girl named Tsuki Iko, approximately 1.5 meters in height, often seen wearing fashion typical of 2007-era teenagers. She was last seen in proximity to a previous Foundation employee named Dr. Ukuzi Iko, whom Foundation records once listed as her father.
However, all existing records of Tsuki Iko ceased to exist upon the appearance of SCP-(-000). No documents, medical history, educational attendance, or biological markers of her remain⍰. She is remembered t̷h̵ro͘ugh s̵̹̓y͡ś̲̕t̢͘e͈͎m̢̗̕ e̛͍rrơ͜͝rs̹ ̛ǹ̶̪̦o͕̩t̛ ̹̥̕r̴͍e͔̹̍͞c̜̕ŏ̸̜g͏͒n̾͢ìz͙è̼d̸.

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING FILE IS LEVEL 5 CLASSIFIED
ANY ATTEMPT TO ACCESS THIS FILE WITHOUT LEVEL 5 AUTHORIZATION WILL BE LOGGED AND WILL LEAD TO IMMEDIATE DISCIPLINARY ACTION.
SCP-126 Connection
Observations of SCP-(-000)-A state that SCP-(-000) is Dr. Ukuzi Iko, a former member of Foundation personnel previously assigned to SCP-126 prior to his unexplained disappearance. SCP-(-000) is believed to retain an emotional linkage to SCP-126. For personnel unfamiliar with SCP-126, please review the following archive: SCP-126
While SCP-126 has never demonstrated manifestation, SCP-(-000) has referred to it in multiple recovered archive edits using informal personal identifiers such as “her” and “she.”
Mobile Task Force ERR-0 ("No One") has reported multiple instances of SCP-(-000) appearing at or near sites previously used to contain SCP-126. During one such event, following a relocation of SCP-126, SCP-(-000) remained motionless for six continuous hours. This event has since been internally designated Incident Zero.
SCP-126 has issued no direct verbal acknowledgements of SCP-(-000). However, since Incident Zero, anomalous behavior has been observed during controlled interviews, including:
- Unprompted shifts into Japanese, which has previously never been recorded as a language SCP-126 has fluency of.
- Uncharacteristic emotional distress when mirrors are present.
- Intense loneliness
Further investigation into this connection has been suspended under direct order of O5-█. All related documents are archived under Temporal-Anomaly Vault designation [ZETA-NULL].
