SCP-2331, "The Green Hole"

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-2331 is contained in a large open field in Herington, Kansas. This area is known as Zone 44. Weekly testing must be done with a maximum of 1 Class-D. Guards must secure Zone 44 from a distance. Zone 44 is surrounded by high metal fencing with barbwire. Any Class-D entering Zone 44 as well as any MTF must wear a special suit that protects them from SCP-2331's intense gravity.

Description: SCP-2331, also known as "The Green Hole" appears to be a glowing ball of plasma. It is blue-green in color. It is approximately 200 ft tall, wide, and long. SCP-2331 is sentient and sapient. SCP-2331 was found in an ordinary field in Herington, Kansas. Origin is as of yet unknown. SCP-2331 will consume any organic matter within a 20 meter radius. The organic matter consumed will not be destroyed. It will from there on now be designated as SCP-2331-1. SCP-2331-1 will then be transported to another dimension, designated SCP-2331-2. SCP-2331 has the ability to see the future, therefore it is capable of foreseeing when its next target's arrival is.

From recent tests, SCP-2331-2 appears blank and dull, with almost no color. SCP-2331-2 also seems to house odd root-like creatures, which also have tree-like appendages sprouting from their hands. These entities are violent and extremely hostile. These entities are designated as SCP-2331-3. Terminated targets of SCP-2331-3 appear to have multiple puncture wounds to the torso, as well as the targets hands being turned to the same branch-like appendage. These "infected" targets are designated SCP-2331-3-1. Any instances of SCP-2331-3-1 will turn into an instance of SCP-2331-3 within a matter of an hour.

Addendum #2331-A: SCP-2331 has gained the ability to transport itself through teleportation. SCP-2331 has not teleported outside of its containment area, although it still retains the ability to teleport.
