Item #: SCP-7750
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-7750 is to be stored in a triple-locked secure containment case within Site-73’s Anomalous Symbolic Artifacts Wing. Access is restricted to Level 3 personnel with written approval from Site Command and oversight from the Department of Memetics. Testing must be conducted under strict psychological monitoring, with on-site amnestic support available.
Any subject exposed to SCP-7750’s full visual form for longer than 30 seconds is to be restrained, quarantined, and monitored for signs of transformation into an SCP-7750-1 instance.
Description:
SCP-7750 is a stylized crimson insignia approximately 15 cm wide, resembling a minimalist depiction of a hooded, featureless humanoid face. It is etched into an unidentified alloy plate which shows no signs of aging, rust, or wear. The symbol appears to exhibit memetic and reality-altering properties.
Exposure to SCP-7750 initiates a multi-phase transformation in human subjects:
- *Phase I (0–12 hrs):* Subjects report feelings of righteousness, vengeance, and overwhelming purpose. Many describe a compulsion to “fix what others have failed.”
- *Phase II (12–48 hrs):* Subjects adopt a violent moral absolutism. Empathy deteriorates. Subjects begin crafting makeshift armor and weapons, often red-themed. At this stage, they are considered SCP-7750-1 candidates.
- *Phase III (48–72 hrs):* Subject undergoes full transformation into SCP-7750-1: a masked, physically altered humanoid with heightened strength, tactical cognition, and regenerative capability. SCP-7750-1 exhibits an extreme fixation on executing individuals perceived as “corrupt,” even for minor transgressions.
SCP-7750-1 entities are not psychologically identical to the original subject. While vocal mannerisms may persist, scans show severe neurological restructuring, particularly in regions tied to empathy and identity.
Entities appear to share knowledge or memory across manifestations, suggesting a possible hive-mind construct or shared mnemonic field tied to SCP-7750.
Recovery Log 7750-A:
SCP-7750 was recovered from a condemned theater in Gotham ████, New Jersey, following reports of a costumed individual executing members of a local crime syndicate with extreme precision. Local authorities were neutralized by Foundation assets posing as FBI. SCP-7750 was found embedded in the concrete floor beneath a stage trapdoor, scorched into the surface.
Addendum 7750-2 — Cross-Exposure Incident:
On ██/██/20██, SCP-7750’s sigil was briefly displayed during a Foundation security training slideshow due to file corruption. Two personnel were exposed for 36 seconds. One became nonverbal, later transforming into SCP-7750-1. The other committed suicide after leaving a note reading:
*"He was right. The system is broken. No more second chances."*
Containment protocols were updated accordingly.
