Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: EUCLID
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be housed in a 40m x 40m reinforced containment hangar at Site 80 A "Dead Zone" perimeter of 10 meters must be clearly painted around the entity; no personnel are to cross this line without a Type-4 Kinetic Anchor harness.
A high-frequency radio-jamming array must remain active 24/7 to suppress the entity's internal processing. In the event of a power failure, the hangar is to be flooded with liquid nitrogen to lower the entity’s conductivity and slow its "reflexes."
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a sentient, predatory entity manifesting as a raw, white-painted automotive chassis. While it appears to be an incomplete Volvo frame, metallurgical analysis shows it is composed of a non-terrestrial carbon-lattice that is virtually indestructible by conventional means.
Personnel stationed at the hangar for more than 48 hours begin to experience Automotive Dysmorphia. They report feeling "unreliable" or "structurally weak," eventually attempting to self-mutilate to "reinforce" their bodies with scrap metal.
The entity possesses two primary weapons:
illusions to the eye: SCP-XXXX projects a targeted telepathic signal into the visual cortex of any observer. It will always appear to the observer as their "ideal" or "dream" vehicle. If multiple observers view the entity, each will see a different vehicle occupying the same physical space.
Vacuum Acquisition (The "Siphon" Effect): If any biological matter comes within 2 meters of the chassis, or makes physical contact with the projected "illusion," SCP-XXXX triggers a localised spatial distortion. The subject is instantaneously "sucked" into the driver's seat.
Once a subject is inside, the entity's "restraint system"—a series of high-tension carbon-fiber cables—deploys with a force of 18,000 Newtons. This results in the immediate pulverization of the subject's skeletal structure. The entity then appears to "absorb" the organic remains through the floorboards over a period of 12 hours.
Discovery Log:
SCP-XXXX was recovered from Volvo Cars Torslanda Plant, Gothenburg, Sweden. It was discovered after the plant’s automated quality control AI flagged a "ghost chassis" on Assembly Line 4 that was consuming more raw materials than possible.
Foundation investigators found three factory workers missing. CCTV footage revealed that the workers did not "walk" into the car; they were standing nearby when the chassis suddenly "flashed," and the workers vanished, replaced only by their discarded safety goggles hitting the floor.
Origin:
Foundation investigators discovered a hidden partition in the plant’s local server. It contained 400 gigabytes of "blueprints" that utilized fractal geometry and occult sigil-mapping rather than standard engineering. Johan S. had bypassed seventeen safety protocols to inject a "custom metallurgical recipe" into the Assembly Line 4 3D-printers.
SCP-XXXX’s Goal:
To standardise or improve all biological matter. Since humans are soft, breakable, and prone to error, the entity's internal logic dictates that we are all defective parts that must be "reprocessed" into raw materials for a more "durable" design.
Recontainment Method:
MTF units deploy high-powered digital injection spears into the chassis. These spears upload a massive stream of "Error Reports" and "Quality Failures" directly into its processing core.
The entity becomes overwhelmed by "data inconsistencies." It freezes in place to run a System Diagnostic, giving the containment team time to tow it back to the hangar using non-biological drone winches.
The Creator Status:
Johan S. was apprehended by Mobile Task Force Gamma-6 ("Deep Feeders") after the first "Ghost Chassis" was discovered at the Torslanda plant. Instead of standard interrogation, the Foundation exercised Protocol 12, stripping Johan from his name, his degrees and his human rights. He was processed as D-9022 and assigned back to his own creation for Experimental Maintenance.
Incident Report 01
During initial transport, a Foundation guard accidentally brushed his hand against what he perceived to be a "1967 Shelby Mustang." Despite being 3 meters away from the actual physical chassis, the guard was "pulled" through the air as if by a vacuum and snapped into the centre of the white frame

Date: 03/15/2026
Research Lead: Dr. Aris Thorne
Location: Site-80, High-Security Hangar 4
Test ID Subject Input/Procedure Result/Observations
01-A Remote Drone (Model: SCORPION-IV) Drone directed to enter the "driver's side" of the manifest. Drone passed through the illusion of a luxury sedan without resistance. No "suction" triggered. Note: It appears the entity only reacts to biological "prey."
02-B D-9821 (Vision-obstructed) Subject wears a standard blindfold and is guided toward the chassis. Subject reported no compulsion. When subject brushed against the raw chassis, they
were instantaneously sucked inside. Restraint cables deployed, resulting in immediate termination.
03-C D-1022 & D-1023 (Simultaneous) Two subjects look at SCP-XXXX from opposite sides of the hangar. D-1022 saw a "cherry red convertible"; D-1023 saw a "black armored truck." Both reported a scent matching their dream car. Both were pulled into the same physical 2m² space simultaneously. The resulting mass was unidentifiable.
